Broom that is terrible - my friends sister lost her baby at 2 weeks earlier in the year too..it's just devastating to think about and you just can't imagine or put into words how they must be feeling. The important thing to remember is how truly blessed we are to have these healthy babies on board and to thank god every day. Big hugs x

I am sure all of our babies will be just fine - fingers crossed.

Ps: apparently new research shows that giving baby a dummy reduces the risk of SIDS? I'll Ty and dig up the link
Yes I heard this too. I'll be honest I was always against dummies but then I read about this and also read that some babies have a stronger need for sucking which breast feeding doesn't cut so now I'm open to the idea - certainly wont be forcing one though if bubs doesn't want it and they say to stop around baby turning 1

Me too SL. My daughter didn't have a dummy and tbh the times we did offer one she rejected it! I'll be offering one to this bub (because she will be early, and i want to take every precaution!)

Ps: although I will be removing it around 12 months to avoid the drama of taking it from a 3yo - which IMO is too old - but each to their own....! My sister had terrible trouble with her kids (removing dummies at 3.5) and it adversely affected their speech too.

Broom - Im so sorry! I can't even imagine what they are going through. So sad!
I just keep praying we are all healthy but Yep, the worry never stops!
I was a terrible worry wart and it all came back to me yesterday.
DS ate something that was either off or just didn't agree with him.
he was sick in the car on the way to the Justine Clark concert (oh, you will get to know her if you don't already!!!!!!!) and he choked cause he couldn't get it out of his mouth. he wasn't breathing!
he was fine for the concert, but was sick again after in the theatre (ALL OVER ME!!) again, till he couldn't breath! then we got home and was sick again multiple times!
fine in-between and even slept through the night.
It was a rough night for us and so much harder being pregnant!!!!
I made him sleep in our room (porta cot) and made my DH and I sleep so much better knowing we could hear everything.
anyways, I'm resting today - trying to make sure DS is ok and trying to take care of everyone at the same time!

Nursery is now completely clear, painted, windows and sills washed, old curtain rail down, new contact on the built in robe shelf and swept and mopped. This afternoon putting an extra rail up in the built in robe and putting together the book shelf...happy times!
