EEK! Just got a medical certificate so my hubby can stay home to care for me... (and our dd) And it says I am likely to deliver early December - January!! I'm not due till 8 Feb, guess this complication could be more serious than initially thought!! That's only 2 weeks away, ARGH! Haven't even got my nappy bag yet! 😳

I've been in the worst mood the last few days, very unimpressed with our living situation. Baby is sneaking up so fast and our house is 100 years old and we were due to start renovations in March when the baby is due. Plans still not finished and need to go through heritage Victoria and the nursery is full of junk. Too much to do!

I so hear you! I'm unimpressed by our living situation too! Our renovations were supposed to start in August but due to council, water board, architect etc they still haven't started. Our house is old too and falling apart. The back of the house is a dodgy old extension from the 1990's and leaks when it rains and you can see thru the cracks to the outside!!! It looks like our Reno will only be starting in February as well just when the baby is due. The only consolation is that neonates don't remember so hopefully well be finished by the time it's crawling - renos suck big time but I know once it's complete the house will be gorgeous.vthe only good thing our pool was finished last week and I have been wallowing in it every day. So at least I have a pool for the heat of summer!!!

    he he...

That's what I was thinking too, letting it go into next financial year so doesn't effect any other benefits.

Very nice. And not too feminine so dh can't complain about carrying it.

You poor thing. What a massive shock. Has your doc said when it all likely to really happen ( dates to be confirmed)?

oh my goodness you poor thing! why so early? at least you are in good hands with your doc and I'm sure that whatever happens will be the best for you and bubs. Don't worry about all the shopping - you can look online and tell hubby to go get it for you! Main priority is to look after you and bubs.

    Hi all,

Ive been a bit busy last few weeks trying to get our renovation started but I've realized it's an uphill battle and there's no point pushing any further as its just stressing me out. However I've been keeping up to date with all of you by reading the posts.

I can't believe how super organized you all are in regards to nurseries and nappy bags etc. I haven't even started! I love the pics of everyone's bellies and nurseries and bags - keep uploading. I love looking at them. I wish I was technically advanced enough to work out how to upload.

I have my 28 week plus 3 day appointment today. Waiting for the OB whose late again!

Im so big - everyone says to me when baby due - I say late January and everyone says. "oh wow you're so big!" - if people don't have anything nice to say they should keep their mouths shut. It's getting me down. I'm normally 55kg and my baby is all out the front and I do look 8 months pregnant. I'm only 28 weeks but look 34. I'm not fat and haven't put on much weight at all. But baby is big and all out front and breech which means its head is sticking up near my ribs making me look bigger. People also say " ohhhh only 28 weeks - you must be expect ing twins!!". I hate having to justify my size. I've stated to say to random people baby is due December!!!

anyway that's my rant. Have a lovely day ladies and can't wait to see more pics.
