Hi all hoping I can join in here for support.
I am currently on Day 2 of my 3rd Clomid cycle for 2012.
I seem to have all the horrid side affects of clomid the main ones being severe migraines & hot flushes/night sweats, insomnia & dizzyness.

We have been TTC for 2yrs after a loss and I am just praying for success this time.

    Does anyone else?
This is my highest does yet so the side affects hit me on day 1.

A little about me. I fell pg with happy, healthy DS our first month trying. So when we started trying June 11 we didn't expect any issues. Dec 11 we fell pg, but lost the pregnancy. Here we are 12 months later and still trying. Cycles are usually 36-38, but my latest was 49. I live in Mackay too emmyj, saw fs in August who told to 'keep trying, come back next year'. I had gone home to see family, so booked in with OB that delivered DS and she was WONDERFUL. I'm starting my first round of 50mg clomid tonight (CD2)
Good luck Missumac with ur first round of clomid! Did u see a FS in Mackay at all? DH and I think the specialists up here are a little primitive. We have good friends back in Sydney that are having the same problems as us and their fs seems to be more on top of things - they are always trying different things and having further tests if they have no luck. We're thinking of seeing another fs in Sydney if we're still not pregnant next year.
    Good luck for this cycle

Sorry to hear nightchild. Can be such a disappointment when AF arrives. At least one positive has come tho with ur cycles being more regular. Good luck for next cycle

I did see fs here in Mackay. TTC 14 months (at the time), ran no tests, no referrals, no exams, nothing. Fs on the Gold Coast couldn't help me enough. It's such a big difference. Friends on the Gold Coast saw someone after 8 months and they were given an action plan.

Sorry to hear about AF nightchild good that the clomid has reduced your cycles though.

Thanks, Kristin. Now if only my body would cooperate better with the clomid this 2nd round.

I didn't have heartburn thank goodness! I just turned into a crazy woman. I was mad, teary, felt like no one like me all in a matter or minutes. Luckily my husband is pretty understanding and just fed me chocolate haha.

I usually have TERRIBLE PMS, so hubby just gets it for a few extra days ;-) I'm not so moody as really, really short tempered.
I only ever got heartburn when I fell pregnant the second time. We lost the baby but the heartburn stayed around for months. I haven't had it for a couple of moths, so maybe it's a good omen?

I've finished my round of clomid last night. I've been told to wait approx 3 days to do an opk as it may get a false negative?
