Delerium- hang in there! I didn't O on 50mg but did when it was increased to 100mg, so there is still hope the clomid may work for you. I am not seeing a FS either just the gyne. She said she will keep me on clomid until july ( a total of 6 cycles). If nothing has happened by then she will refer me for IVF, but hoping that won't be needed!! Just got a positive opk today for cycle 3 so here's hoping

good luck Jane I get really dark OPk's every month, EWCM, ovary pain. So if this is the issue, the problem is my follies aren't maturing properly as clearly I have plenty of LH to trigger

I don't think Clomid is an exact science. The first round I did I didn't ovulate on any dose for 7 cycles. Second round I only ovulated once I got to 150mg and ovulated on cycles 3 and 6. 3rd round I saw a naturopath and ovulated and fell pregnant on 50mg first cycle. And it appears with this 4th round I have ovulated on 50mg again. I think it's a test of patients. I asked my GP years ago who used to be a FS and he said they actually have no idea why it works.

my sister has the same issue, she ovulates but the egg doesn't mature enough (or something like that). let's just hope we all eventually get our little BFP, however we have to do it

Hmmm interesting. I never realised the follie releases if the egg isn't mature. food for thought, thanks.

Don't take my word for it though...that is just what I have heard from my sister...apparently if you have shorter follicular phase the follicle doesn't have time to grow big enough and can release an immature egg, usually happens if you O early in your cycle...but I'm no Dr and could be leading us all up the garden path in the wrong direction...I'll blame my sister if that's the case

I'm now 9 DPO and the suspense is killing me. I'm determined to hold out until Sunday to test but don't think I will make it. I did initially want to hold out to see if AF arrives on Tuesday but I don't have the will power. I'm having lots of cramping so can't decide if its AF coming or that it might mean good news. I had awful cramping last time so am reading into things that I shouldn't which will just make me really disappointed if I get a BFN.
