I started there after them being open for a few wks I didn't wait long as not many people knew of them yet. I had a straight forward cycle how ever only 2 eggs at pick up and only 1 of them fertilized and they used that embryo and look now I'm 15 wks pregnant I think I was there 10th pregnancy they are great there and the success rate is like all others I guess it depends on what fertility issue each person has mine was straight forward I only have one tube due to an ectopic few yrs ago and then found out the tube I have is blocked so it was really only a matter of it being put where it need to be to grow and hope it took and it has I wish u all the best and hope u get what u want and that's a bubba xxx

Hi sammy and welcome me and my husband made our first appointment last month and we have it on the 27th sept, so not long now YAY!! we had to wait 5 weeks for it so they are getting pretty busy. Not sure how long it will take us to start a cycle as we will need to go through all the tests and things before hand. I am hoping to cycle before the end of year. this will be my first attempt at ivf after 2.5 years of trying, blocked twisted fallopian tube which was removed 2 months ago and remaining tube damaged, so hoping this is the thing i have been waiting for to finally make me the mummy i so desperately want to be x

Hi thanks for replying I plan on ringing next week so we can get started soon it took a bit to convince hubby that it's time to as he still thinks that it will happen when it happens cause he is worried we would be spending ten thousand for something that's not guaranteed to give us a baby and that happens naturally but I convinced him and now just got to get the ball rolling I'm excited

Hi Sammy. Ivf is not guaranteed to gir u a baby but it Helps u along the way. My partner and I had been trying for a while and we suffered a miscarriage but after the tests at TFC we found out that he has low sperm count so yes it may happen naturally one day for us but that day might take 15years. They are so lovely there and it will be worth every cent. I had a failed attempt first go and hoping to have a success second cycle.

Glad you have decided to go see them. Would be good to get all the testing done just to see where you sit as far as infertility. My fertility specialist who removed my tube page we could try naturally as well with my remaining tube but after discussing with my hubby we knew that naturally could take years if at all and the risk for ectopic in my remaining tube was just too high, this was the choice for us. Don't get me wrong if I hadn't done so much research and found the fertility centre at such an unbelievable price there is no way we would ever have the opportunity. $1300 is just so amazing compared to the 5000 my specialist could do. I realise it may not work first time for us but keeping as positive as I can and just too excited to be given the chance to even try :-) good luck with everything and to everyone else in a cycle or about to start xx

Also with all the rebates from medicare it goes to you trying again wish you luck and the first cycle can be a trial and error stage for the meds etc or it could work fingers cross for you
