Papillion, So happy your little embie held on. Awesome news. Goes to show it only takes one and that it was a good move for you to push for the EPU. So happy your PUPO right now! Oh and on the baby stuff. The huge highchair is a giant waste of space unless it's the ikea one. Amazing at only $30.
Sarah, sorry to hear about your job. It sucks when things don't go as planned when you get pgnt. I know when I was pgnt with my DS I was incredibly sick with hyperemesis and in and out of hospital. I worked about 3 weeks all up (not consecutively) from 8 weeks until 26 weeks when I finished up. Lucky my employer was understanding. They basically just wrote me off as if I wasn't there which was great at the time. We never planned on me not earning any money when pgnt at all. It was a difficult journey but we made it through. You always do. Unfortunately it meant less time off after bub but that was just how it had to be.
Mrs Simmo, how exciting! Not long now. Gawd the days will go so slow in the lead up I'm sure. I very much look forward to the arrival news of your little girl.
Wnat01, enjoy finishing work. Rest up!
I have today off. I have slept half the day! lol I pretty much slept all last week-end too. My second bt is tomorrow.
Papillion: Wow! A beautiful 8 cell embie! I'm so happy for you!
I truly believe your mind can influence your body, so relax, chill out and go with the flow and think lots of positive thoughts and fingers crossed your beautiful little embie you & dh produced is a sticky one!
Mrs simmo: Omg! It's all happening! I'm so so excited for you!
Hi everyone hope I can join this thread Just had my first appt with the clinic on mon, met with the nurse Sarah she who is very nice. I am 37 and DH is 41, we have been trying for 2 years now with no luck So far I have not been diagnosed with anything hopefully the clinic has more answer for us. DH's SA count and morphology was not very good, did 1 cycle of IUI with no luck and been on 4 cycles of clomid with no success too. Am going straight for Ivf considering our age, don't want to wait any longer. Good luck to everyone in here on this journey We see the Dr in 4 weeks, can't wait hopefully start meds ard Easter
We have all gone through this crazy journey. We are all at different stages. No question is a silly question - so if you have any ask away.
I am currently at the 38 week mark and finishing work on Friday and there are others who like yourself just starting the journey. My journey at the start was a hard one with the procedures etc but stay positive and keep communicating with hubby with what is going one.
When you have time read through the pages - there is also a #1 to this page as well. Some of us have been on that one too.
All the nurses at the clinic are wonderful and will answer your 'silly' questions any time.
There is also a Facebook 'closed group', so if you are on Facebook, join that too.
Good luck with everything.
Thank you, yes I have been reading from #page 1 onwards and beside the low cost with the clinic, it's also from reading this thread knowing that you guys have success from this clinic gives me hope. And for those who are still trying, sounds like the clinic staff have been pretty good to you too hope I am one of the lucky one too.
