Well ladies I was wondering when my turn would come but I had the longest worst night of my life last night. For some reason I couldn't sleep and at about 11.30 I went to the toilet and blood was just gushing out. (Sorry if TMI). I called 13 Health and the nurse on the phone advised me to go to the hospital. So silly me, we went to Ipswich. We waited for over 4 hours to see a doctor (and bleeding through to their sheets, woops). He used an ultrasound machine which I think was made in the Middle Ages and with a sigh of relief we saw bubba and his/her tiny heartbeat. I went and saw Katie Taylor this morning and yep there was bubba and that strong heartbeat and he had the hiccups lol. It was pretty cool. Then the laid back with his arms behind his head like he was saying "chill mum it's all good" lol. She said the bleed is nothing to worry about and should ease over the next couple of days. I can't tell you the relief I feel right now. But lesson learnt...... Do not go to the Ipswich emergency!

KT what a horrible experience to have to wait so Long in that situation thank god everything is alright. Do you know what caused the bleed? are you booked in to have bub there or at St. Andrews

Thanks landed and KT I'm feeling so confident it's perfect time for miracles

Thanks loveabug. We're going in on Saturday to do the tour and book in at St Andrews. I'm never going back to Ipswich. I found out this morning that we could have gone to the St Andrews last night instead of the Ipswich because we already have a private specialist there. I wish I'd known that then :-)

I was going to say that but was unsure if you were going there or not. I rang and went in for every little bleed and they ring OB. I loved St. Andrews Dale (1 of the lovely midwives) is gorgeous hope you get to meet her I didn't have her for the birth wish I did but had her after.
The midwives delivered my DD as the OB was at Ipswich hospital in surgery and they all were fantastic. The only thing I found sometimes the rooms get a little warm in the arvo other then that I loved my stay and DH stayed every night
