I'm glad it's only mild love, i had that a couple of cycles ago - i was in SO much pain after EPU... and then stayed bloated and sore (not as bad) for ages. I hope yours resolves quickly.

AFM: I'd give ANYTHING to not be in bed haha. MY back is killing me and i'd love a massage but that's a big no no. I'm still bleeding but still the 'good' blood, as Wazza said, so i'm hoping that at my OB appt on Thursday, they see a change in the SCH! I also hope they see little backhoe <3 I think that one small consolation of this whole thing is that the OB will want more regular check ups, so i'll get to see bub a bit more. Only a few more weeks to go (hopefully!).

I hope all the other ladies are well, happy birthday KT.

Nicole, i hope you're holding up ok

    Hi Everyone,

Thanks for all the support and kind wishes about twins. My husband and I are really happy but I must admit when I was feeling so sick all the risk factors played in my head and I wondered how I would get through the pregnancy and delivery. I had two blastys transfered and I really had to talk my FS around and sign a waver.

I always wanted kids and was starting to wonder if at 40 -I would have to let go of that dream- so I feel blessed that I can actually prepare for 2 little ones in my life!

I've been interstate for a few days.. I was reading back ..so a few personals..

Kand P- so glad backhoe is doing OK

Bethy- sorry about the BFP, Laned put it so well.

KT - happy birthday, pity about having to cancel your party, but you have much to celebrate. Embrace your age I say. I am just about to hit my penultimate year in my thirties. Age is relative to me, particularly as I am convinced my eggs were scrambled many years ago. Take good care. X

K and P - thankfully saw Ob today and he advised my high platelet count was separate to the anticoagulants. I advised of a few previous unusual BTs and he is getting me to see a specialist just to be sure everything will be okay. Got to hear the Springboks racing heartbeat so at this time everything seems A Okay. I am remaining on the baby aspirin.

Landed - I don't really understand what's going on with the platlet count but hope it is all managable and little springbok is doing fine.

Calita - Thank you for your kind words but I am really no braver than anyone else here. I am constantly inspired by the determination of so many of these ladies and that keeps me going. Along with the joys of already achieving a child through the emotional journey of IVF. My DD helps me keep fighting because I know how much joy she has brought into my lives and I desperately want to experience that all over again.

Chances - sorry I don't know of any OBs that have rooms around West End most tend to stick to the usual medical areas. The OB that I have used is at the Wesley Hospital and can provide details if you are interested.

AFM - well DH and I have come across some very interesting data that may be impacting his MFI. I feel absolutely stupid I didn't think of this earlier. Just before I gave birth to DD, we realised DH wasn't coping with alot of things in his life and was getting more and more anxious. So after a quick visit to the GP he was prescribed Citlopram an anxiety/anti-depressant. Two weeks later I gave birth and he had adjusted to the medication and finally started feeling human again. We didn't give it another thought. I always felt that anything that helps him feel better with anxiety/stress has to be doing more good than harm. It was only a few nights ago when I was dishing out the usual concoction of vits and supps that I thought I would look at the information sheet in the packet of citlopram. Well he had thrown it out so I did some googling and found that it can affect motility but more importantly, morphology. Even to the point that sperm may look normal to the scientist but have significant damage within. Which COULD possible explain why the cycles we have done since have gone to utter crap.

So this is day 3 of him weaning off the tablets. He is not doing too well. He had a minor breakdown at work yesterday and I was so worried about him. He says that all the emotions of the miscarriage just finally hit him. Because he had been trying to hard to keep it together for my sake, but also the Citlopram was probably holding his emotions back a bit too.

I hope he does ok without them. Even though we had MFI problems to begin with (before DD) I honestly think these tablets could be making things worse. And we have no one to blame but ourselves because we haven't told Wazza he in on them. Lesson learnt, that is for sure.

I am now feeling optimistic about our IVF journey once again. I have given him a few more supps thanks to a lovely message that another hubber suggested.

We also started meal planning again to try to get fit and healthy and we both will be going for walks/runs in the afternoons along with DD in the pram.
