KandP - how are you going today? I hope the appointment with Wazza went well. Sending you lots of luck and good vibes.

Thank you Bala2 and Laned for your kind wishes. I am now anxiously waiting for my next scan on Wednesday.

Hi all- it was so nice to get everybody's congrats and well wishes about my first ever BFP. Only my husband and I know (my DH has sworn me to secrecy for another couple of months) so its especially nice to feel the support of you guys on this thread Thankyou

Thanks also for the OB recommendations. They all look great but I'm leaning towards Doug Keeping- even spoke to his receptionist who was lovely. The only thing making me hesitate is that I live close to sunnybank private and its so convenient and familar but he doesn't work out of it ...hmmm

Was asked how far along I am - I had my FET (6day blasts) 11/10/12 so on day of BT 12 dpt . I went googling HCGs last night and freaked- thinking my maybe my HCG its too high..maybe there's multiples...then I wiped at the toilet and saw blood and freaked for a whole new sort of reasons (but since the no blood and been OK)

I have been thinking a lot about you KandP and hope your bleeding has stopped and everything is going OK. I'm glad you are with that Wazza guy.

Sounds like good news on scans Nicole (I think u ovulated late) and Bronwyn. Bala well done on finally getting off the drugs!

Kt King thinking of u and wishing for that BFP for u too- is the suspense getting to u ?!

Calita, Congratulations on your BFP! I had my DS at Sunnybank private with Dr Astill. He is absolutely lovely! He has been my gyno for over 15 years but is also an Obs. He is also a FS specialist so we were able to be with him throughout the whole process. Not sure how easy he is to get into but worth a call if you want to go there. I've heard good things about most of the other Obs there too. Good luck!

KandP - you have been in my thoughts all day. I truly hope things have settled for you. You are right Wazza is a gem. Hang in there Hun. We are here if need be. Xxx

Calita - with your numbers I too thought maybe multiples. How exciting. Hope there's been no more bleeding. Sometimes Crinone can cause slight irritation and small blood loss.

Calita - thank you I hope we are right and it was late ovulation. You have made me feel better especially since hearing how many dpo your numbers were. Cos going by my latest theory of late ovulation that means my last bt was 818 at 15 dpo which seemed ridiculously crazy at the time but now I read your numbers I am starting to feel better.

I agree with laned and was going to ask if it was creamy orange colour? I get that from left over crinone.

Kandp - thinking of you xo

Hi Calita, the suspense is KILLING me lol. I'm going crazy now and Saturday cannot come soon enough. I woke up and tossed and turned for a couple of hours this morning cause I kept thinking about it. DH and I have decided to POAS on Friday night so we can prepare ourselves for Saturday. On a plus side, I usually have some clear signs of AF by now and I've only had a few niggling little cramps. Only 3 more sleeps (not that I'm counting) lol

    Hi girls,

Thanks so much for thinking of me. The bleeding is still intermittent - mostly it's old brown blood - and not much of it (i'm only spotting really), but i still have intermittent oozing of dark red blood (not as much as the initial 2 bleeds. Those weren't huge either, but still scary). It's honestly out of my hands now, and all i can do is follow warren't orders to REST.

I had my scan with him, and little backhoe (that's my new nickname for the embryo - it's dug too deep) has definitely grown. At the end of the scan, Warren caught a very faint heartbeat, which was elating to see. He also saw the chorionic bleed. He said that i'm having a definite threatened miscarriage and that there is no guarantees that the pregnancy will go to term. He also said that this could happen again at 12 weeks, 19 weeks, 24 weeks... which scared me, but i know he's just putting it all out on the table. I think what's scaring me is that even though i'm still on the tablets, i'm still intermittently bleeding (i assumed that being on the tablets, the bleeding would have just stopped) . Warren did say that the blood would have pooled a bit in my uterus and will take time to ooze out, which i'm taking as that it's not necessarily still newly bleeding. I'm also figuring that even if the bleeding hasn't entirely stopped, it's completely slowed, which i'm again taking as a good thing.

I also had my anti-d shot yesterday, just in case, and Warren suggested that i call an obstetrician to make an appointment, which i did. I felt like i was tempting fate a little, but i needed to get on top of that. We also had our first pregnancy visit with my GP, and she was SO reassuring. She said that bleeds in early pregnancy are so common, and even though they don't all end well, to not automatically assume i'm going to lose little backhoe.

Thanks again girls, i'm one terrified mama, but to know some of you have been through this and came out great at the other end is reassuring.

    Hi again ladies,

When i went to hospital on Sunday for the SCH, i was given an hcg beta. The Dr sent me home before i could get the results, and it's taken until now to get them. The doctor i spoke to said that given my previous results, they weren't good ('weren't healthy') were her exact words. For a point of reference:

    1st beta 16dpo - 665
    2nd beta 20dpo - 2925
    3rd beta 23dpo - 5500

So the doubling time went from approx 44 hours to 79 hours I know the numbers are still high, but from what the doctor said, i'm SO worried. My FN said that while the doubling time isn't ideal, it's still within the range and doubling times can sometimes pick up and slow down... i could go in tomorrow morning for another HCG with QFG to get some answers as it would have been 5 days. I guess if the numbers still aren't doubling or they're dropping, i know that the bleed is more serious than i had hoped. I'm terrified of losing this baby

KandP - I too had a slow in Hcg and freaked a bit, but then did some research and found that by week 6/7 they can start to slow. Wazza told us not to get to hung up on numbers. Likewise he told us it could go either way. Hang in there Hun and remember lots of rest. Xxx

KandP- Thats great advice from Laned. We are all here hoping and praying for you. Your little backhoe is a fighter. Good luck today with the hcg X.

KT- I'm so excited for u! Tonight's your POAS

Laned and Nicole- I've had no more bleeding thanks. If it was crinone it's not what I've had in the past (clumpy speckledy) this was like slightly dilute bood with little blood clots but not more than you could wipe (sorry if thats too much info) Also, Nicole glad you are feeling more relaxed.

Octoberbaby- Thanks- I have heard of heard of Dr Astill too- I'm definately going to make enquiries

I hope everybody else pregnant or cycling are progressing well
