Been reading lots of posts and journeys on bubhub and so amazed at everyone's bravery and resilience.

Afm I'm going in for egg pickup tomorrow. I think will get about 8 eggs. Battling with indecision about whether to do a day 2 transfer on fri or wait to see if we make blasts and do transfer next mon but then risk losing all our embryos. Such a game of chance all this makes it stressful and confusing.

    Best of luck to all.

If and when we ever find the money and start on the IVF TTC journey again, I'll definitely come back and let you all know. In the meantime, I wish you all the best for your TTC journies & much baby-dust to you all!!

I hope you win the lotto or get some windfall of money to achieve your dream. In the meantime. Stay positive and never give up hope. All the best x

Tantom, I hope those potential children of yours are behaving and growing and splitting as they should. I used to call every day to check on 'my babies'. It is all too exciting. Thinking of you in these long weeks. Take care

Kenya, all the best today. I hope the pick up goes well and you get the numbers you want. 8 sounds great. As far as when to transfer, you should speak with your specialist and maybe even the scientists and be guided by them. They are the experts after all. Personally we choose a five day transfer and transferd two. We came to that decission by lengthy discussion of pros and cons with our doctor. ALso many friends of mine have done numerous cycles and I guess we learnt from their mishaps. At the end of the day, science plays a big part and the rest i believe is pure luck.

It only takes one. Out all of mine we only had two suitable to transfer and only one took! 7 weeks pregnant. You just need one little fighter. I will be praying for your babies tonight. I totally understand the angst you face right now. Thinking of you x

We only had 6 at EPU today. Was very disappointed as there was a delay getting into theatre and I thought it was a definite time after ovidrel trigger that egg pick up was suppose to occur so getting to 39hours after trigger seems like they risked losing some of my eggs and I could have ovulated and lost some. Also as my E2 level prior to trigger was over 10000 I would have thought there was more eggs.
