Thank you GCnic, I'm sorry to hear your situation, given your family history. My family is the opposite, every generation has had early hysterectomies, miscarriages, PCOS and endometriosis, I haven't yet gone for any testing as yet, so I'm really cautious about the outcome going into fertility treatment... :s

This group seems wonderful so far, like you it's great to have someone to chat to about what is going on.

I'm still debating about whether to tell family as we are not close... It may be helpful but I don't think they will be very supportive either...

If they are not going to be supportive then there is absolutely no reason to share this with them. You definitely do not need any added stress in your life, only keep those positive around you.

Thank you for your wishes, I too hope ivf is very successful for you guys! I am so new to this journey and have SO much to learn, so my apologies for silly questions along the way!

Can miscarriages, endometriosis and PCOS be hereditary does anyone know?
    Hi fullofhope,

I have read your few posts and just wanted to offer you a little hope. I have pcos and endometriosis and before ivf had my period for a few years with only a few days off each month. I started ivf with QFG - Dr Bopp who is amazing early in the year. We had 2 cycles and I am now just over 14 weeks pregnant. On a personal note, you are with a wonderful clinic. I have found them to be wonderful. The nurses are beautiful and supportive when they need to be. I wish you all the best.

To everyone else, I still keep logging on so I can keep updated with what everyone is doing. I am thinking of each and everyone of you all the time. Fingers crossed for some more good results.

nic - how are you going? Did you test again today? I dud my first test the day if my missed AF and got a positive but my FN was a bit grumpy with me because of the residual HCG from my pregnyl injections. Turns out it wasn't but they're not keen on you doing it. I now have 6 HPT's in my baby box - I tested 6 days in a row leading up to my BT day. I couldn't help it

Goldie - how's your 2ww going? Have you given in and tested at home? How are you feeling?

T & K - hope Kate is doing well. I didn't experience the lucrin and by the sounds of things I'm glad I didn't. Hope she gets a break from the tears - for her sake & yours. How are you dealing with it all?

AFM - I'm well. Can't really complain. Just all day sickness although its eased up with some natural ms relief tabs. 8w4d today so slowly creeping closer to the 12w mark but there have been 3 girls on the may due date forum on here who have lost their bubs in the last few days so I'm desperate for the next 4 weeks to be over soon. I hope all your long weekends are relaxing and that we hear some BFP news soon! Good luck! Go the Bulldogs!
Hi, i hope you are feeling alright with your MS. I have joined an ivf specific thread for pregnancy through ivf for April, may and June next year. Feel free to come and have a look. Everyone is surviving there so far and each of us has the same concerns cause we have all worked so hard to get to this point. it's under the pregnancy and ivf tab on the page you use to get to this one. Hope to see you there xx

Calli- That is so wonderful to hear!! I'll also be with Dr Bopp! a huge congratulations on your pregnancy also calli, I hope the rest of your pregnancy runs smoothly .

And as for telling family, after stewing over it for the last few days, you guys are right, if I don't think they'll be supportive, then it's best not to tell them...

Glad to hear all is going well for you Calli!

Goldie not long now! Hope all is still well. Good luck tomorrow.

    Becks how's you?

    T&K how's everything going?

    How's everyone else?

ASF: Blood test today...few days late due to public holiday and me being in country nsw...no pathology on saturdays. However I have completed a second Home pregnancy test and it's negative. AF is late but I think that's just the progesterone doing it's job.

    Back to the beginning....

    Have a great week everyone

    Nic

    Hey everyone

Nic - I'm sorry that this wasn't your round. But I hope hope hope that the excitement and good news is not far away for you. Take some time out for yourself and by the time next round is here you will be feeling strong and ready to go.

Goldie - did you decide to do a HPT or just wait for your bloods tomorrow? Have my fingers crossed for you!!

Calli - great to hear from you. I'm so glad all is going well. 14 weeks huh!! That's great. How are things going with your DH away in the mines?

Fullofhope - We are with QFG also, Dr Flynn. We love the clinic and our FS and have no complaints. They are very supportive and Dr Flynn even made time for us over a weekend to chat through things when we had our second miscarriage. Who are you seeing there? Do you have a close friend or two for support?

Bek - how are you feeling? Hoping all is going along well for you. How long will you stay on the progesterone support?

AFM: We have a blood test Thursday to check Kate is baseline, then all going well Friday we will start the FSH jabs too. We are just plodding along with this round. Egg pick up will be here before we know it.

    T&K

TK- I'll be seeing dr Bopp from QFG . I have told two friends, but we don't live close to either of them or talk on the phone etc... I think I'll keep things to myself (aside from you guys of course) until I feel comfortable telling someone... I'm glad to hear so many people are happy with QFG!!

Can anyone tell me, is private health insurance of absolutely any help through fertility treatment?? I currently have private health but wish to cancel if it's not needed, as were not using it at all... .???
