That's fantastic news fullofhope, fx crossed for insem on Friday we would share one week of the tww together
Did the FS make any change to your meds or were they happy with how they are working at the moment? I'm so happy that your cycle wasn't cancelled.

    Morning girls,

So I had my EPU yesterday - it has been much more painful this time round which is weird considering I got less eggs. Spoke to the scientist this morning and of the 6 eggs we got, only 4 were mature and only 3 of them have fertilised. Transfer day was meant to be Saturday but has been bought forward to Thursday.

On our first cycle we had a day five transfer. Does anyone know what the stats are for day 3 transfers? I'm feeling a little unsure of the whole thing .

Heading to acupuncture now - hopefully that will make me feel better.

    Kate

    Hey girls

Fullofhope - YES!!! So happy to hear your cycle hasn't been cancelled. That is great. We are with Dr Flynn too and find him great. I'm sure he took good care of you. Will he be doing your scan on Thursday also? Hope the scan confirms all is fine tomorrow and Friday you are on for insem.

Mustang - Don't worry lovely, we had the very same thing this cycle. Half the number of eggs (5 eggs instead of our usual 10) only 3 fertilised, they moved us to a day 2 transfer and we are now 6 weeks pregnant. Its quality not quantity for sure. There is no big difference between a day 2, 3 or 5 transfer except if you have lots of embryo's to choose from they like to wait to make sure they pick the best one. With fewer to chose from they prefer to put them back in your "incubator" earlier rather than rely on their incubators. Hope you feel better soon after egg pick up. Fingers crossed for your transfer. Will you ask to transfer 2?? xx

Erin & Jess - hope you girls are hanging in there with your TWW. Keeping busy is the best idea. Will you girls just wait for the blood test again? I really don't know how you can wait and not POAS but that's just me I guess. We did another HPT this week!! Ha. Didn't tell us anything other than yep - still pregnant.

AFM - we haven't had any bleeding since last wednesday so that has been very reasurring. Kate had a blood test today and we are just waiting for the results. I hope it is good news with high numbers so we can relax just that little bit more. One week until our 7 week scan... that will be the big test. Kate is SUPER tired and getting some waves of nausea so hoping that's a good sign too.

We had a lovely coffee date with HopefulJen on Saturday. So great to see you, pregnant lady!!! Calli - we're happy to have another coffee in a few weeks time. The next few are crazy busy with xmas parties etc. but we'll see what happens after that.

Hope everyone else is doing great.

Betty - I forgot to ask how your scan went today. How many follicles did you have? So you would have your trigger shot tonight then. Good luck for your egg pick up on Friday!!! Will be thinking of you.

    Hi Girls,

TK thank you so much for your post - has reassured me a lot! Phone call from scientists this morning - all eggies are progressing as they would have hoped! I don't think I'm able to transfer 2?!? I've had two fertility specialists tell me they never want me to carry twins as they don't think my body could handle it. Not sure why but if rather not risk it just yet.
Stilll in a bit if pain & bloated! I get the WORST constipation after anaesthetic - it really knocks me around. My mum is coming down from Brissie this arvo though so will be good to have some company (My hubby is away today-Friday).

Hope Kate's blood tests come back with awesome results!

Hope everyone else is doing ok x

Mustang Kate - do you take Movicol after egg pick up? My Kate takes it twice a day starting straight after egg pick up which helps a lot with constipation.

We got GREAT results this afternoon. HCG has been doubling every 2 days and is now 7,608!! which is better than we were expecting. The nurses were super happy so now onto the 7 week scan. We are still in shock as after our second loss we started to wonder if we would ever keep one. Our FS said he was confident he could get us there - totally recommend acupuncture straight after transfer, plus a few days later, then weekly thereafter. Also recommend CQ10 and Royal Jelly. Plus HCG injections post transfer and additional progesterone support. They were all the extra things we did this round. Problem is we don't know which one made the difference. Maybe all of them!!

TK- yes well be seeing dr Flynn again tomorrow and doing another scan. Were u on progesterone Suppositories or another type?? I'll be on these aswell... Dr Flynn has been lovely! Both him and dr Bopp have been so caring and considerate!

Afm- so much bloating, tummy pain, i finally think im very close to ovulating! 3 appointments tomorrow! Fingers crossed only 2 of the 4 eggs are still growing! Then insem on Friday if things are okay! Yay!!

Also strange question but where are the trigger shots given?? Arm, stomach, bum? Lol

Mustangkt good luck with your transfer

Fullofhope good luck with your scan tomorrow, I'm hoping its all traveling along nicely and you have a good result. I had my trigger shot in the stomach just like the FSH.

Tk great news on your hcg number, when is your 7 week scan? I bet you both cant wait to hear that little heart beat. Have you told any of your close family yet?

Afm 5dpiui feeling very bloated again must be from the progesterone pessaries, it certainly makes me uncomfortable in my work uniform.

Unsure if we will hold out for the BT or do a HPT this time, it would be good to have a little indication going into the BT.

I'll talk to DP and see what she wants to do.
On a good note I was so busy at work today that I didn't even have time to get distracted with baby stuff
