Congrats LilRue & ClaudiaW...

As for me - well Im still waiting... Nothing like realising that your cycle just hit 31days with no AF and your actually over the most fertile age gap ffs. Mind you they are usually 26/27 days, so I can't see why now Im trying and always been regular that they are delayed. Also strange last week I had the worst aching breasts and weird cramping/pulling feelings - not a general sign of AF for me, usually I just get lower back pain... SO...

Doctors appoint for me tomorrow and found a fertility doc on the Northern Beaches hopefully I can get a referral to and get some answers...

(And I know its only a few months trying - but I aint the most patient woman on earth ;-)

OMGReally - I know we arent in exactly the same place - but, we sound very alike!

I also am a very patient person + a control FREAK! So when my DH and I couldnt fall - at the 7 month mark.. we went and got checked out.. maybe that put me at ease alittle more? And that might do the same for you??

I know for under 30's they say to try for 12 mnths before seeing someone.. but i couldnt wait anylonger - if i was going to be told something, i wanted to know sooner rather then later! And because your over 30.. you only have to try for 6 months before they recommend you seeing someone... so afew months of trying, maybe see if they can do some preliminary testing?? I know thats what i would do!

& keep us posted!!

Congrats Claudia and thanks for the info. A lot of women in the last couple of weeks have said they felt nothing different during the tww. So seems completely pointless for any of us to symptom spot.

NOTHING!

No sore boobs, no change in CM, No morning sickness, im not peeing more then normal... nothing - no signs.... except a positive home pregnancy test with FRER!

I tested in the morning - although i could have put money on it that it was going to be negative! My face had broken out in pimples during the week - just like it does when AF will arrive.. hair was oily - as normal leading up to AF & i was getting mild cramping afew days leading up to it... all normal symptoms for me leading up to AF...

I hadnt really done anything different from the other 9 months i was trying - except this month i did put a pillow under my hips the day I ovulated and DTD... but otherwise.. that was the only thing that was different!

Oh and the other thing different is that its my birthday this month <img src="images/smilies/smile.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Smile" smilieid="1" class="inlineimg" so maybe someone is watching over me this month <img src="images/smilies/smile.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Smile" smilieid="1" class="inlineimg" PERFECT birthday present.. thats for sure!!

Keep persisting ladies... we tried for 9 months and i was getting really down and stressed out about it - but it can still definitely happen naturally!! My only advice would be to keep tracking your ovulation! I started up again using the first response ones the last 2 months... 2 months ago i ovulated as per normal - this month, i ovulated 4 days late!! If i hadnt tested... i would have missed it! I think stress definitely threw out my ovulation.. so maybe just keep on top of that... <img src="images/smilies/smile.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Smile" smilieid="1" class="inlineimg"

Hopes this helps!! And the biggest <img src="images/smilies/goodluck.gif" border="0" alt="" title="goodluck" smilieid="165" class="inlineimg" to everyone else testing this month!!

FelH - how are you feeling?! <img src="images/smilies/hugs.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Hugs" smilieid="35" class="inlineimg"
Claudia words can't describe how happy I was reading your post you deserve that BFP so much!
Well I'm CD1! Not that surprised we didn't try very hard this month because of my operation. Only a 27 day cycle too so I think the procedures messedy cycle up a bit.
Congrats again Claudia! Hope you have an easy 9 months ahead of you

Keep Positive FelH - like my mum always said through the last 9 months... at least we get a chance every month - 1 week & you can try again

I honestly started thinking in my head and that my DH & I were going to have to go through IVF or something.. i was CERTAIN something was wrong with me - but sometimes, i guess it takes time for some people?

This saying always helped me when i was struggling:
Sometimes you just have to stop worrying, wondering & doubting. Have faith that things will work out, maybe not how you planned, but just how they're meant to be.

Persistance is the key Target your ovulation & You can do it too!

Default Re: Organized October 2012 Testing Thread

Hey ladies,

What an emotional month for DH and I. We were told September 4th we would struggle to conceive naturally. Then we get our BFP a couple weeks later. Now just over a week later I have just left hospital, officially losing our bub overnight. We are devastated.

Two things I wanted to mention, this month was the first month I had no symptoms whatsoever other than af symptoms. If I had to pin point anything as an early pg symptom for me it would be that I had almost gushing watery CM the day AF was due so keep an eye out for that as an actual early symptom. The second thing is (and everyone is different with this one), I though I'd want all my family and close friends knowing so that if something went wrong early we'd have the support from them. Now that it has happened we both wish we hadn't of told anyone. It actually feels harder having to tell everyone than what it would have been just going through it the two of us. Just my story anyway.

So we are back on the TTC train as soon as bleeding stops. Here's hoping if we have done it once naturally against all odds we can do it again.

Congratulations Claudia and babydust to everyone else for the rest of October

princessleah - How upsetting! You must be so drained emotionally & physically! Take care of yourself, spoil yourself & I wish you all the best for TTC in the near future

FelH - So sorry to hear AF arrived! I am on CD2 so we will be kind of in sync for this new cycle

Kirby star - Sorry to hear that AF arrived, best of luck for next time.

ClaudiaW - Congratulations! Thank-you for your kind words!

OMGReally - I'm similar to you - I would rather know if something is wrong instead of going about things & being totally unaware! Most doctors are quite sympathetic. I had a BT to confirm ovulation last cycle & DH is having his semen tested too & we've only been TTC for 6 months.

Now that I'm emotionally over last cycle - I'm looking forward to this cycle. It was in October that we conceived DS so I'm feeling optimistic! I'm due to ovulate on the weekend before our wedding anniversary. So we'll be going out while DS is at my parents place overnight, woo hoo no interruptions
