North or south? I personally hate those boarding kennels. Its like putting your dog in jail. You can contact a company called top dog minders or something similar who will house your dog with minders at their home. Costs a bit more but in my opinion so worth it!

Wag-tails is very good! Also the 'links' is good. My DH is very picky about kennels but he approves of both!

im on the northside, but willing to travel if it's a good place.. i would love to find someone to look after him at their home, but i wouldn't know of anyone.. plus im looking from 28 Dec - 7th Jan.

if i don't find anywhere, (i know it's late notice in the year to look) my in laws can always watch him, but as they are elderley i hate imposing on them.

Imparra pet motel... It's AWESOME, they are in Ipswich but we trek it happily. They are really clean and have a wonderful facility, owners live on the property so just in case anything happens they are right there. Staff is really dedicated and my rottie is always happy to go. Wouldn't use anyone else!
