Oh ladies..... I'm so sorry to hear your news! It's so hard to get through all the emotional and physical impact of a cycle and then to have it cancelled must be a huge disappointment. Fingers crossed for an au natural marttc.... Little miracles can happen and ill be hoping for one for you! <3 x
Strawberry, at least next cycle they should be able to get the correct dosage for you and fingers crossed for some good follies then. Xx

Marttc- I am so sorry yours has been cancelled as well, it's such an emotional rollercoaster My FS didn't give me the option to trigger or take any progesterone in the tww, however I do have the trigger here so I may as well take it. It sucks that we have to wait until March, I feel like I am wishing my life away while on this journey.

Jen- Thanks for the support, how are things going for you?

Honestly do it tonight, have sex for the next 4 nights after then start using your crinone - you have to pay for those drugs, you might as well use them! What have you got to lose?!

My FS called me today & said if I do t become pregnant the natural way this cycle, I can start on CD2 again... I said the nurse said no back to back & Lynn said its only if you make it to egg collection, I didn't so my ovaries are not bruised. I'm happy with that. You didn't make to EPU either did you?

Maybe call your specialist & check!

I had my cycle cancelled before EPU as well. The only problem I have is my clinic is a satellite clinic, they only do EPU one week a month, so AF would have to arrive on 6th of Feb for my cycle to sync up. I don't think I will be that lucky. I am excited that you don't have to wait, I'll be cheering you from the sidelines!!

Hello! I was wondering if I could join here? I am from melbourne, but my story is a wee bit different?
I am a surrogate for a dear friend. I had a FET on the 17th and have blood test on the 28th. This has been a two year process with legals, psychology and a cancelled cycle to get to this point. Even though my friend has been through for years the process I read about you lovely ladies endure so bravely over and over again, I am in the dark about most IVF stuff.
The more I read the more I admire your strength, you are all so amazing
thus the reason I became a surrogate.

I totally understand if I don't belong here, but reading everything helps me understand how it all works and my body responds. This is also a doner egg as well. So genetically this baby is not mine.

even though I am from Melbourne (eastern suburbs) we used the Genea clinic in Sydney. It is a natural cycle and I am now on progesterone pesseries nightly.

    so that's my story

wishing everyone all the best and I get so excited to read about pregnancies on this thread!!

Hi Sophie, you are absolutely more than welcome here. What an amazing gift you are giving your friend, you truly are a special person. The 28th is not far away, how exciting for you and the mum. How are you feeling about it all?

Yeah they do it with a lot of regional clinics that are not big enough to handle having all the staff on fulltime. Basically one week a month Monash bring a team of doctors, scientists, embryoligists etc from Melbourne for EPU.

    thanks guys!

How do I feel? Well a bit useless I cant do more really...I am also scared if my body dosnt want to grow this wee emby, I think I will feel let down by it I guess. As Ive never had fetility issues, I think it will hit me hard if cycle fails etc...but never mind, we have a plan C and I will keep trying as long as she wants too.
I so desperatly want this to work, there is nothing more amazing then handing over a baby to somone who has given everything to have one..
(I gave up a baby for adoption when I was younger as well, so this is where me wanting to be a surro stemmed from. I see how much this hurts and want to help as much as I can to all you deserving parents )

I do have a blog if you want to know more about me and my adoption and surrogacy journeys (surro in oz - Blogger)

Im sure I will have plenty of questains to come! I dont understand alot about it all, just go where Im told, lol!

thank you for being so accepting of me
