    Bobby calves are usually taken off their mummies within 12 hours , fed up with colostrum or milk then sent to slaughter at 5 days old

    Agreed but they also use bobby calf by products for leather and I'm guilty of wearing leather

    We don't eat lambs here and very rarely veal. Only grown up animals. Although dd1 once said you can eat sheep and cows and kangaroo too but you gotta take the skin off first or it doesn't taste very yummy.

    Yep, she knows where meat comes from and that when they are in those trucks they go to market to become the meat we eat.

    we never ever eat veal or lamb in this household i love little calves too much and ours never got sent off that early i wouldn't let them be
