Actually the indicating on roundabouts was in the nationalization road rules in 2001. I still have the booklet somewhere.

I wouldn't buy it even if it were $10... It's horrible

I thought everyone else knew it's not cool to invite your self to the ceremony of a wedding of someone you don't really know but have spoken to a couple of times.

I stand corrected! And here's the answer for anyone who's confused about what to do if the second exit is not actually straight ahead but off to the right...

    113
Giving a right change of direction signal when entering a roundabout
    (1) This rule applies to a driver entering a roundabout if the driver is to leave the roundabout more than halfway around it.
    (2) Before entering the roundabout, the driver must give a right change of direction signal for long enough to give sufficient warning to other drivers and pedestrians.

So when debating whether one should indicate right or not, it's not relevant whether it's the first, second or third exit... what matters is whether the exit is more than halfway around the roundabout .

I'm always shocked at the number of people who don't know how to merge when driving.
I consider it a serious social faux pas to put the pedal to the metal upon realising that two lanes are merging, with a view to ending up in front of as many people as you can, and almost running someone off the road in the process.
So much offence do I take at this all too common act, that I frequently feel the need to say a rude word.

Under your breath? I yell at the windscreen, speed up and not let them in

Maybe this is why DH never does it- being Canberra born/driver trained- and I do- being WA born/driver trained. So inconsiderate!!!
