Yes, you're right. It's straight so that means you don't need to indicate when entering. BUT you still need to indicate when leaving a round about regardless of it's the first 2nd or 99th after you 50th full rotation.

    Roundabout basics.
As you approach a round about, indicate as if it were a regular intersection. If you're turning before 180degrees indicate left, If after 180 degrees indicate right, if on 180degrees don't indicate.
Once you are on a round about indicate left immediately before your exit only, regardless of where you started.

And to correct others- LISMORE NSW is round-about-town even more than Noosa! lol

As above, but states to indicate left when exiting if practicable

That Moet is fricking expensive and therefore not worth drinking, regardless of whether its Moette or Mo-ee.

Something I thought everyone else knew... that (like all road rules) roundabout rules differ from state to state

Until quite recently the ACT rules did, so it's not quite as whack as everyone is making out

Ok fair enough then. Glad i don't live near ACT then Cause it drives me batty and holds the flow of traffic when you're waiting to enter the traffic but don't cause some idiot is indicating right... Only to then go straight grrrr

It wasn't a pleasant time, thankfully the powers that be figured it out. Given how many of the damn things we have, it's kind've important to get the rules right here!

And as for Moët... I think $50 isn't too bad for the scrumminess. Girl's got to have a weakness

Confuses many many people and has caused many a debate over a beer
I have always indicated left off RAB and every time we go to Canberra I get laughed at by the canberra bil who reckons there is no need to indicate off. Quite amusing considering how many RAB there are in canberra that he doesn't know the rules
