Default Stuff you thought everyone else knew......

Anything that says fruit DRINK is less than 50% juice. Legally they can only call it juice if it contains more than 50% actual fruit.

For this reason I avoid fruit Drink as its full of sugar and other junk!

Fruit juice contains a lot of sugar too. About the same amount as coke.

Yep.. Sure does! But it is still better than fruit drink. I generally water juice down before giving it to DS anyways because I don't fancy his teeth rotting!

I have hearth before and wondered if it's the same for home made juice?

Yep, it's not usually added sugar that's the problem... fruit contains a whole lot of sugar, and juice is a condensed version.

Do you juice your own? If so, just think about how many apples it actually takes to make a glass of apple juice.

It takes 4 apples to make 1 glass of juice so you pretty much lose all the fibre and nutrients in the skin of the fruit and just get concentrated sugar! Even though it's natural it will still spike blood sugar levels so it's best avoided

Well, I was at Hogs breath a few weeks ago, and the stupid waitress kept taking my food away from me!!

Being preggo, I was pacing myself, so the rest of the table was done and dusted while I still had 1/4 of my food left on my plate...

Sure it looked like crusty left overs, however my knife and fork were WELL APART and I was picking at it every min or two...

And 3 TIMES I had to tell her to rack off, AFTER she had lifted my plate up from in front of me...

    SOOOO ANNOYING!!

    Grrrrrrr! lol

Thats crazy. They should always ASK "can i take your plate?" before touching it. Even if your knife & fork are together. Common courtesy!!

    Yeeaahhhh

Fork and knife together. Fork and knife apart. Fork and knife crossed. Fork and knife in hands stabbed into food... I have no idea what signals what but I think a good waiter/waitress says "hi how was your meals? Can I take your plate?"
