    Default Re: Mama Vent!!!!! Comparing!!!!!!

Gotcha ! Yeah that's not cool.

I've got two kids that hit milestones early and with jasper was told with my mothers group to "let us have something". He rolled, sat, crawled, cruisesd, stood and walked first, was the biggest etc.... it got to I didn't tell anyone anything... though he obviously would do something. They made me feel like I should feel guilty.

This time though I'm like LOOK!!! She's sitting!!! She's awesome!!!

But I'd never ever ever put down someone elses baby. And I'm always like "yay! Your baby is sitting!!! Standing!!! Jumping!!!" That's so cool!!!!" Regardless of when my baby hit whatever

I get that. My first was very delayed and still is. Everyone always said stuff , had this look on their faces when talking about him. I was so mad about it and wanted to just say ' leave him alone ' and run away. Turned out he had ASD but he is catching up. Now I find my second son of 18 months talking and understanding , walking at 9 months , can feed himself without too much mess..... I can get a bit carried away because I'm so overjoyed about it. But I would never compare another persons child to either of my boys , I don't get those comments at all .
