    Default So proud of myself!

In 5 days time it'll be 6 months since I left my ex. He has 50/50 care I our child and I find that fair even though I can't stand him and he still treats me like crap.

The time I was with him I was so badly verbally and emotionally abused. I began to believe I was useless, worthless, was on antidepressants and almost killed myself.

6 months later and I couldn't be happier! I have qualifications now, have a job in Aged Care that I LOVE, and have just been approved for a bond loan and a house with my friend who I studied and worked with. I have my own car, I pay my own bills and if I have too much going on I have an amazing, supportive family behind me. My friends (new and old) have been incredible. And you ladies (I'm on a new account due to a psycho stalker) have helped me to no end.

So I wanted to share my story. It DOES get better. You just need to believe that it will

Good work! It's very liberating, isn't it? I've been happier in these past 4 months than in a very long time!
