Default Urgent please: Rego money question!

I have my first Rego due on the 19th. It's a 6 cylinder so I've been send a bill for $420 or $470 or something of I pay after the due date.

I'm wondering if anyone can please tell me what the pensioner discount is for Rego?

    Thanks!
    Xx

Its usually about $100 less than the bill, it should say it on your bill down the bottom marked as concession discount.

My bill is $698 and if i had a health care card it would be $512.

    Expensive bl00dy things aren't they.

Default Urgent please: Rego money question!

    What state are you in?

I'm in Vic and with my pension card it costs be around $300 for a year but they do let you pay $150 for half the year.
If I didn't have my pension card it would cost me around 640 a year.

We pay half yearly. Doesn't cost any extra and helps a lot with cash flow.

I'm in Queensland. I have heard its about $100 less, but also I couldn't see anywhere else on the bill where it said the amount.

The $440 is half yearly. It'd cost me $880 for a full year :-O

I don't know what the discount is but if I were you I would go into a rego office and pay it too make sure you get the correct discount.

It's ok, I just Google.... And as usual us Queenslanders don't get any discount for having a health care card. What's new... We also pay the most rego in this state!

It states on the bill that it's the discounted pensioner price. I can't remember exactly what it says and i only threw out old renewal papers the other day. Make sure there is something on there about it being the pensioner price though or go into department of transport before paying it.
