Default Tips for sore throat in bub?

    Hi all!

My 8mo littlie has throat ulcers and has had them for quite a few days. The GP said all I can do is give her pain relief as they are viral. Is there anything else I can do? She wakes up screaming every 1-2 hours.. I feel so bad for her & I'm incredibly sleep deprived. Help!

Oh poor little miss you could try giving her lemon and manuka honey drinks to sip on- it will help soothe the pain and manuka honey has antibacterial and antiviral properties so may help clear up the ulcers a bit faster.

I don't know what you can give an 8 mo, but maybe ask your chemist about diflam spray? Like a throat lozenge but easier to apply I would imagine? Or a mild lozenge in one of those tasting nets you use to first introduce solids?

Otherwise I'd just stick to lots of warm drinks through a bottle or sippy..I know all I want when my throat hurts is endless cups of teas. Maybe hot water and ribena?
