No they don't do transfers on a Sunday. They will either give you the option to go a day earlier or if they grow slowly then a day later.

oh oh bugger lol. So Saturday is an option? I would choose that over the Monday and have a good rest up before work. Although reading about 5 day transfers vs 3 the 5 day was my preference but 4 is close enough.

All this is just "date guessing" for atm - and wishful thinking i get that far, i'm also trying to juggle my work load so the days i do have to have off for IVF I am prepared for. Plus i'm getting excited - spot the first time IVFer alright!

I had my transfer last Saturday at Spring Hill, and the scientist work Sundays as they called to let us know what they were able to freeze. I know my FS works 7 days a week but I suppose it will depend on your FS

I think it depends entirely on your FS. I'm pretty sure the day hospital is open 7 days a week...but some FS don't work sundays or public holidays. I had an old FS not do either of those days and had a couple of transfers a day early because of that. But then I transferred over to another FS that actually worked on a public holiday which happened to be my 5 day transfer date. I liked him much better lol. Probably helped that we also got pregnant on that transfer

I am pretty sure it comes under the actual day hospital not being open to conduct transfers on a Sunday. Remember, they need nurses and all sorts of staff to conduct these procedures. My FS works every single day unless he is on holidays. He would transfer on Sundays if he were able to because he's working anyway doing scans on ladies cycling.
