I shall book a coffee date with you if you ever come up this way

See the thing is I'm alternative to the main****** people (because I homeschool, am vegetarian, AP and meditate) but am main****** to the alternatives (because I look pretty 'standard', I mean, *gorgeous* obviously but you know ). It's fun. It's like a treasure hunt to find 'my people'... and I am, slowly

Oh, I'm the same. Vego and complete hippy at heart but I look relatively normal. I'm also a christian but not into the whole
Chambray shirt and big straw hat look.... Or the girls who have to wear dresses to play sport because they aren't allowed to wear pants! . Or the whole rod and staff thing. Argh!

    Anyway I'm derailing the thread...

    Dear DH,

Thank you for "checking" on DD when you got up for work when she was fast asleep and then deciding you needed to move her under her covers. Waking her up a full 1.5 hrs before her usual time so I lose sleep too is a lovely challenge for me on a work day

I know you've been sick and quarantined at the other end of the house for 6 weeks and have missed DD a lot, and I can see you feel terrible about waking her, I forgive you.

    xox

Ps: you're on dinner/bed/bath duty with the potentially grumpy toddler tonight

    Continuing on the morning's events...

    Dear anonymous work person,

Thank you for throwing out the muffins I was keeping in the work fridge despite me having labelled them. I'm sure that being pregnant and perpetually needing to snack to avoid dry retching meant I didn't really need to eat them this morning

Dear lady from HR setting up the meeting room for an important manager's meeting,

Thank you for taking pity on an emotional pregnant crazy person who hasn't had enough sleep or breakfast by giving her strawberries and caramel slice from the morning tea set aside for the managers. They were very yummy

    Dear School

Thanks for informing my daughter she had been awarded not one but two shining star awards in the last two weeks . She should of been able to tell her Mum that she was awarded them not the other way around because Mum read it in a newsletter. Very disappointing and poorly run establishment you are running!

    I hear ya!
I worked for an orthodontist and people used to bring their sick kids in all the time! If you have kept your child home from school for the past two days because they are so ill and infectious, why would we want to be centimetres away from their face fiddling about in their mouths?? I know it's a pain to reschedule an appointment, but if the orthodontist gets sick we would have to reschedule everyone else's appointments! I'm sure you'd be peeved if we had to do that to you!

    Dear parcel post man,

Please do not deliver my parcels before 7.30am - my dh leaves for work then and just between you and me there is no need for him to know how much online shopping I do. After 7.30am would be much appreciated.

    Cheers.
