    Default Ring slings

Just wondering whats better, the type with the padded side rails or unpadded?

Oh, and do you prefer metal or plastic rings? Or the buckle/clip type sling?

    Thanks

I have an unpadded black ringsling with metal rings & love it. I think the metal would last longer honesly

I had one without padded rails and it killed my shoulder(cutting in)it had nylon rings, they take up to 300lbs or something so probably as good as metal but I am purchasing a padded one for this next bub.

I have unpadded with plastic rings. I like the plastic rings because I can lay Cobes on the floor on the sling, and he plays/chews on the ring.

I recently bought a Bubzilla sling and am now a huge convert! I have always loved my Hugabub but now that Hamish is 10 months I needed something that was more suitable. Hamish even naps in the bubzilla!

Hi :-) I have just bought a babyrock comfy carry sling to wear my 11 month old (1 in november too :-) & it is just fabulous! It is padded & has a cotton netting that breaths (fab for qld!) and has a massic heavy duty clip. I carry her in it all the time, and it is super comfy for both of us & easy to get on too (not like the papoose by tomy I started out with! Although it was quite comfy for us both too) The slings are great as you can put bub on the hip or anywhere else, and I can wait to use it again when we have a new bub (hopefully in 2008!) I cant recommend the comfy carry sling more- it has been fabulous! If you have any questions, just pm me. Good luck sling shopping!

I recently bought a snugglewrap off Lunar (bubhub member) and its the best thing ever. I wish I had bought it when bubby was born twelve weeks ago. He LOVES it and I love it, we have used it every day since I got it last week.

Its like a hugabub, but much prettier.
