Vivre, lovely to hear from you and a big congrats on the birth of Jessica. I'm so happy for you

I am feeling much better than I did during the week and just starting my new countdown to our FET in October. At least we have a plan.

In the meantime I'm enjoying coffee and wine again and this may sound weird...but I'm enjoying being my old self. The last few months I've been declining drinks and then worrying that people are suspecting I'm pregnant (the truth couldn't be further from that obviously) and that they might ask me about ttc. I'll have to get back on the health-wagon sometime before the FET but I might give myself a few weeks.

Emmajane75, thanks for letting me know that the same happened to you, although I wish it hadn't happened to either of us!

Thanks to RoRo, Nat256 and littleduck and anyone I missed for all your encouragement this week.

RoRo, how are things going for you now?

Vivre, how lovely to hear from you! I'm so glad the rest of your pregnancy went okay and you have your little Jessica now. Please do pop in from time to time.

MrsErinR, I know exactly how you feel - both being happy to have a plan, and in enjoying some of those pleasures we deny ourselves while we're TTC (as I sit here and type this I'm drinking my first cup of tea in about six months, and I had TWO glasses of wine last night). AF arrived last night, and I too have a plan: no trying this cycle as we're going to do an endometrial biopsy after O, and then IVF next cycle. So you and I will both be back on the wagon in October - let's work on having babies at the same time!

I'm going to try to be super healthy this month though, and lose a couple of the seven kilos I've put on since I got married nearly two years ago. :-/

Big hugs and kisses to everyone else!

It's great to hear of your LO's arrival, Vivre! Congratulations and enjoy!

I''ve been reading along silently lately, and just wanted to give some hugs to all of you who are putting in the hard yards with IVF and TTC. There are so many ups and downs, and while there are times when it can seem overwhelming, you all show such great determination. You are going to make great mums when you get your much-deserved baby!

RoRo, I am totally with you! Surely it's got to work and stick for us sometime soon.

Are you having the endometrial biopsy to test for NK cells? That's what I had to find out that mine were high.

I am also trying to lose weight. I've gradually let nearly 10kg go on since my wedding 1.5 years ago. I hope to lose about 6kg though as I think getting back to my wedding weight would not be maintainable. I don't think TTC helps...way too much comfort eating and drinking in the past year for me

Gentoo, you're nearly ready to pop! Can't wait to hear that your baby has been born safe and well - let us know when it's time?

MrsErinR, I think we're on exactly the same page; I've done far too much comfort eating and drinking this year, and I've cut right back on exercise (either too scared to bounce an embryo out of implantation, or too depressed after a BFN). Right. That's it. I'm going for a run tonight. Well, as soon as I get over this cold anyway.

I too need to lose weight - at least 10 kilos! I have just moved to an area that has a lovely lake nearby with a walking/running/biking track around it, so I have no excuse, especially when we have a dog. I am also about to pick up a new puppy on the weekend which I hope to start training in doggy activities such as agility and flyball. The puppy will be an Australian Shepherd so will need lots of exercise once it gets past the puppy stage, so if I don't lose this weight I only have myself to blame! I will post pics when after we pick him up

RoRo and MrsErinR I am really hoping that your next IVF cycles/FET tx are fruitful and result in much wanted bubbas! I truly believe that it will happen for all of us eventually.
