Thanks Nat and Kazza. Well, I had my scan and everything is looking good at this stage. Freaked out at first because the tech couldn't see anything and had to do an internal. There is certainly a tiny little human hanging out in my uterus, tiny being the operative word, as I'm only about 5.5 - 6 weeks, can't even really make out a form yet. Saw the tiniest flicker and was told it was the heartbeat and was able to hear a heartbeat.
I think maybe my new G.P. is quite a newbie. She's really lovely but I guess maybe she hasn't had a great deal of experience and got me really concerned. Sheesh, does this mean I have to find yet another G.P.? How hard can it be to find a good G.P.???!

Yes I would definently recommend new gp if they are youngish not much experience. When I was going through mc the gp I saw was young and was basically reading off her computer the proticol of mc. I then rang a volunteer ex midwife at womens hospital who told me that yes I was "allowed" to have a natural mc. Anyway that is great news petulia! Big hugs

Glad to hear you're both okay, Nat and Petulia.

I got a blood test yesterday - BHCG is 173 at 4+1, so all good. I've got a referral for an early scan, but can't get in for one until 7+5, due to policy (won't see you before 7 weeks) and sonographers being on leave! I really just want to know one way or the other whether the same thing has happened again, or whether this one has a better chance. In that sense, the holiday will be a very welcome distraction!

Sorry about AF arriving, January will be the month for lots.of.us (fresh start) I can feel it.

The last few days I have not been feeling well. I have had some reflux and have been tired and had a.bit of a.temperature. These were early pregnancy symptoms for me last time (.but also.signs.of illness so who knows) and my boobs feel tingly today, not sore but different. I am hoping I am not this month as I have had a.couple of.wine's in the last week as I was convinced I couldn't be. Time will tell I guess. My cycle was previously 31 days but with recent mc I have been told my cycle may b out for.a.while. The longer cycles.mean pregnancy will not always be detected at the same time as a.woman with shorter cycles. I will.test on.new year. Day to.check for.other developments.

Sorry to read that Kazza. Come on January and all its good luck!!!

Good luck Debstar. Thinking of you and crossing fingers for wonderful new year news!

All good with me. Back to normal. I'm tempted to try for a scan this week to make sure all is okay after the days of discharge. We want to tell hubby's family next week so I'd like to be sure before that. We'll see.

NAT, I'm glad the discharge has stopped and I hope you get a scan to prove everything's okay. Hopefully you're a bit less busy this week too!

Gentoo, congratulations! I've got all fingers and toes crossed that you've got a sticky one this time around . We've arranged good weather for you for the next few days in Auckland so I hope you enjoy it!

Kazza, I'm sorry AF found you . January will be your month, I'm sure!

Debstar, all fingers crossed for you too! Symptoms sound good.

I've got O symptoms now so am jumping on DH at every opportunity. Nice and relaxed now; apparently that helps.... Wouldn't it be ironic if it actually did.

How is everyone going? No news to report here, no AF and no BFP.

I hope everyone has a great new years eve and I genuinely hope that 2013 sees all our dreams come true.

    Good luck to everyone X

Not much to report here either. AF came a few days ago and I've started on the pill for a month before next IVF cycle so no chance of a Jan BFP for me.

    Happy new year everyone.
