estrogen is only 1644.... day 10 stims (last 1366 day 8) ... not a happy camper on this....means these follicles are probably empty.... so it looks like the decision to cancel will be made on monday..... this entire cycle has been weird and strange the E2 has not done anything right and the follies are doing weird things. So Ill just have to distract myself for the next few days... thinking cancellation really if I am honest with my gut feelings.

Oh my goodness Micca, what a difference in your 2 posts today! Hun, I am so sorry…you have had such a roller coaster ride on this cycle. Are you having another scan and bloods on Monday, as a final check and then make a decision to go ahead or cancel? Im hoping the fat lady isn’t warming up and she backs the heck off that stage!!!

Wow Fort, u have a good haul there, but I understand how cautious you are. Have you heard from FS yet….is it Monday or Tuesday?

    AFM
First scan and bloods today - Day 8: Lining = 7.1mm and Estrogen = 1300

7.1mm at day 8 is quite good for me, but my new FS had really hoped that it would be thicker at this stage. So, I remain on 1 x 400mg Trental per day, 3 x 4mg Progynova per day and on Day 10 (Sunday) I start 1 x 20mg Estrogen Pessary per day and 1 x 25mg Estrogen/Viagra Pessary per day and of course Cardiprin, Vit E and L-Arginine. I also have acupuncture booked for Monday afternoon….so hopefully by my next scan on Wednesday, all that will get me to the minimum 8.5mm (or more) that FS wants.

sunny..great levels... almost the same as mine... ask your FS to give you some nitrodur patches 5mg... 1/2 -1 on the top of the foot at night..take off in the morning. It is supposed to increase blood supply to the ovaries and uterus..my FS has me using them.

Fortitude.... how were your estrogen levels... Im sure they will be fabulous with all those great follicles.

The more I think about this cycle the more I am inclined to maybe do an IUI and not waste the cycle... especially all the expensive saizen and luveris.
I was planning an IUI if it did not work so I guess the decision may be taken out of my hands. The next step will probably be convincing the FS to do one with 8 follicles.. even though I think most of them are empty... watch this space... all will be revealed after mondays scan and bloods. Still got my appointment with Warren on friday so I will see him and debrief... and push the cycle protocol I have decided I want to do..lol.. he is usually very amendable to this sort of thing. So off to have a nice distracting weekend... out for breakie some shopping maybe... a few walks.

Oh and I OD'd on peanut M&Ms this afternoon...lol..lol.. but made up with a healthy steak and salad for dinner...

    Hey Sunny,
7.1mm at day 8 seems reasonable to me. Sounds like heaps of time to get to 8.5mm to me. Hope it grows heaps- might be worth asking your acu lady about any tips. Have you been on a 'pre transfer' Yin diet? That's what my FS recommended to me.

    Hey Micca,

Oh honey, that is really disappointing after it went up so well yesterday. I honestly thought you were home and hosed.

Now that sound like a plan to me!!!! Good idea.

Keep sane, come chat any time, I'll be thinking of you honey. Oh and as for the
peanut M&Ms- GOBBLE some down if it makes life seem better right now.

    Ahhh oops forgot to say:

    AFM:
EPU: looks like Monday is the day. I am having yet ANOTHER BT in the morning. Not sure why, as I managed to miss the clinic's call. (Stupid mobile rang too quietly). Wondering why they need another BT...? Had one today. Surely if there was a problem they would have mentioned it today?

    Hi all.

I have had a busy (but good) week at work and I haven't had any time to answer any posts but I have been reading. Everyone is sooo busy!!!

Micca - I have been reading about your roller coaster ride. Do you think your hormone levels could have been effected by the DHEA at all? Like Sunny and Fort and everyone else, I will be thinking about you on Monday and hoping that things go well. it will be interesting to hear what wazza has to say about the IUI. Im here for you. xxxxxxxxx.
Fort - I love that expression you came up with about FS's - something about them being the "holy FS guru"? I laughed so hard. You really have a sense of humour. I dont know why they are asking for all these BT's but it can only be a good thing to be monitored this closely. Look forward to hearing how you go on Tuesday
Tens - lovely to hear from you!!! What are you up to? Give us an update. Not long till you will be starting with your donor embryo? Hope you are feeling better xx
Net - How is the waiting game going?
Sunny - Sounds like things are progressing well for you. I will be thinking of you on Wednesday and hope the scan goes well.xx
Leannep - how are you holding up with the old waiting game? Let us know how you go with the next bt on Tuesday. Not long to go now and you will reach the ultrasound. Im looking forward to that.

AFM - I have my first meeting with a potential new FS on Monday. I was a bit surprised to find that my last FS charged me for an entire cycle, even though I didnt go ahead with the transfer. They even charged my health insurance fund for the full hospital - though I didn't use it - which I thought in principle was a bit much. So I have been a bit broke this week but I have had an enjoyable week anyway as work has been good.
