Hi Lillac. Thanks. Guess all I needed was some sperm and patience. I'm 9+2 today, and had my first ob appointment this morning. Got to hear the heartbeat this time, as well as see it. He confirmed EDD of 24/12, and referred me for NT scan & bloods. Scan booked for 11/6. Yes, I'm going private, booking into Westmead Private. Are you going private? Glad all is well with you & bub! At least his movement is reassuring.

Simpson- so pleased that your embies are behaving themselves! Such a relief (for us all!)

    Nattie- 18!!! Wow!!!!

Peonies- I went to westmead private for both bubs. Great hospital and I loved my OB. Such an exciting time. Will your ob be working over Christmas?

Nat- patric looks as snug as a bug in a rug!

    Trying-welcome back on the bandwagon!

Lilac - 29 weeks!!! Are you feeling impatient yet?!

Such a miserable day today, rainy, I have a sore throat and ds is all better which means he is full of beans but can't go outside😱

    Keep dry everyone

Simpsondesert - great news on your embies making it to blast - how awesome is that!!! Hope they settle in nicely ready to thaw for your FET in about 6 weeks

Yeah thx Lillac - I'm quietly cr@pping myself TBH - I just don't feel pregnant and have been getting AF feeling - loose bowels, back pain, no sore b00bs - so I'm just holding out at the moment I can't believe your already 29 weeks are you still pinching yourself???

Welcome back trying2StayPositive - g/l with up and coming FET

Yay peonies - g/l for your 11/6 scan

Nattie good luck with epu tomorrow - hope your 18 follies produce some nice mature eggs ready for fertilisation

Nat84u - Patrick is adorable - so blessed hope your loving being a new mum again and happy belated birthday to your DD

Traveler - glad DS is all better - $ux about yourself getting ill - always the way isn't it

AFM - well yes the TWW crazies have hit and so has sore back and loose bowels (apologies for tmi) - I just feel its all over again and am petrified of poas as then it's all over - I guess the only thing delaying AF would be my mega dose of 400mg pessaries. I have bruised stomache (from clexane injections) and will then have to slowly wean myself of the prednisone (I gather you can't just stop taking 30mg if I get a bfn!!!) anyway a sorry to end this on a poor me post - just really down in the dumps today

    Take care everyone xo

Crofty- this is by far the hardest part of the TWW and I'm sorry you're feeling lousy today . From my one & only BFP I clearly remember having classic AF signs, in fact they were amplified, as though the heaviest AF of my life was about to hit. It doesn't mean you're out, so try and stay positive! Clexane is awful stuff to inject, my bruises were deep purple like I'd been shot with a rubber bullet and I was using ice before & after the jab. I've had a good feeling all along about your cycle, so I'll keep sending positive sticky vibes

Lillac- 29 weeks already, I can't believe it! Glad to hear you have an active little fella in there. I agree with Peonies, the movement must be very reassuring . You had an endometrial scratch before your BFP didn't you? Did your FS do it in his consulting room or in theatre?

Peonies- That must have been amazing to hear the heartbeat! Yay for booking NT scan and hospital. Keep growing strong little one

Nattie- good luck for tomorrow's EPU. I hope you've got lots of mature eggs and it all goes well

Trying2staypositive- nice to see you back. I hope you can pinpoint O time with as few BTs as possible. Good luck for tomorrow.

Traveler- haha you are terrible trying to corrupt Crofty like that . Yes it is a huge relief that my embies all got through! Love how you are there every step of the way, you're a great support and I really appreciate it . So pleased to hear DS is better and hope you've got something to keep him occupied with all the rain predicted.

Hi to TTHC, Nat, MGC and Bella

AFM- Our embies had their biopsies this morning and are safely in the freezer now . Still can't believe we got 4 to test! Last cycle we seriously detoxed- took vitamins galore, drank special antioxidant juices, no coffee, no alcohol, etc and we had 6 embies with only 3 getting to hatching blast. This time we were sooo bad in comparison, and my eggs are 1yr older, yet we had a better outcome. Where is the logic in that?!

Simpson-excellent news on having all 4 make it Hun!! Funny when you aren't trying, you have a better cycle & produce better eggies! Same goes for when you fall pregnant, there were some transfers when I tried so many different things & it wouldn't stick.. Then I would do nothing (even things I shouldn't be doing) & that cycle I fell pregnant on... Just goes to show that most things are out of our hands..
Oh & Thanks for explaining the whole pgd process to me! I had no idea that's how it all worked.. I agree with not relying on the grading-otherwise we'd all fall pregnant first go wouldn't we!? There have been many women fall pg with 'lower quality' embryo's & have beautiful healthy babies (like you mentioned traveler!)

Peonies-how exciting about hearing bubs heart, must be such a relief! I too had both bubs at Westmead private & rave about them to everyone! I had a fantastic experience, great labours & births there..

Crofty-don't worry about AF symptoms, like what Simpson said-with a BFP they are the same symptoms.. I've never had sore boobies, nausea etc I just had AF type symptoms & that was it....

Traveler glad DS is better, but bummer about you! Hope DD is fine too! This weather definitely sucks if you have a toddler! Trying to find ways to keep them entertained indoors can be challenging!

    Trying-good luck for your ultrasound!

Lillac-29 weeks! You're basically on the home stretch! Must be getting very excited! Have you decided on any names? Or decorated a nursery?

Nattie84-good luck for tomorrow sweety!!! Sounds like you'll have some awesome numbers & fingers crossed for some great fertilisation results!!

Hi to all the other ladies out there!

Hope you're all staying warm & dry!!
    Xx
