    Hi ladies,

MGC - hoping you find that left ovary of yours and there are some hidden follies!!!! My last stim (more than a year ago) only showed about 5 follies(and I was on DHEA) and at epu - the fs found 10 eggs!!! I was stoked as the most I'd ever got was 4!!! S don't loose hope - mind you I do recall yelling out to the nurse conducting the u/s that this was bull$hit - lol - so let it all out and were all hoping for a great result for you

Congrats peonies - hope all goes well in the lead up to your 7 week scan!!!

AFM had my follow up appt with my Dr for results of my biopsy and hysterocopy - and as expected from BTs - my NK cells are higher than normal. So protocol starts from next week when I start lucrin form a down reg cycle - start gonal f on 2 may, epu will be. In week of 13 may.

My protocol includes Prednisone, antibiotics and Clexane as well as Megafol and caltrate plus with vit D

Hope everyone else is well!!!! hoping cycle 6 is my lucky one

Peonies- Woo-hoo, awesome levels for 13dpo! Good luck for the next BT tomorrow

Traveler- thanks for all your well wishes. Amazing story about your friend and her natural miracle! I once read that "where there's an egg, a sperm, and a uterus- there is hope". Seems very fitting in your friends case . You seriously need to update your signature by the way!

Crofty- yikes that is a whopper dose of gonal! Big guns indeed . Interesting that you don't have to do intralipids even with NK cells. I sure hope the immune protocol makes cycle 6 very lucky for you, I will be following with much excitement and anticipation cycle buddy xo.

TTHC- sorry I missed you in my last post. Hope all is well with your 2 boys. How is DS1 going having a little brother around? Is he all excited or has the novelty worn off?

Rainbow- so pleased for you that you've felt mostly normal and no nasty preg side effects to date. Hope it continues that way!

Wishing4- How exciting to be the recipients of donor embies! I have so much admiration for any couple who can make the decision to donate, bless those lovely people. How soon would you be able to start a FET cycle?

MGC- lol at 'shooting up' at Maccas . Really sorry the U/S was such a debacle. I hope your left ovary comes out of hiding and the next scan has much more conclusive results, and lots of follies. If your BT results for E2 were good, then those eggs are in there somewhere! Good luck for better news tomorrow

Hi to Roma, fingerscrossed, quartz, Lillac and sorry to those I've missed.

AFM- 15 more days til AF is due. Really thought some excitement, nerves, impatience, etc would hit me... but nope. Totally calm and just want it over with really. I am curious if we'll get any normal embies to use later, but thats about it.

Hi Simpson I can see why you would be a bit blasé about your next cycle but for one I am so looking forward to seeing how you go- its been a long time coming x

MGC- good luck for your follow up ultrasound (I think it's today?) really hope you have some great news.

simpsonD- just changed my signature (& updated my age ).since I started using the app I don't come on the computer anymore so was a bit oblivious. It's probably good that you are feeling calm, means your big break worked

crofty- so sorry, I haven't wished you luck for this cycle yet. Really hope it is your last ever cycle because you have a wonderful baby at the end!!!

wishing- how are you feeling about the donor cycle? So exciting! When can you get started?!

    have a nice day ladies

    Congrats peonies.

MGC Bertie - My left ovary also hides. Eventually one of the nurses mentioned that it's near the abdominal wall, which was sufficient direction to allow other nurses to look in the right place, but I still had to press on my belly right next to my hip bone to try to get it in view of the ultrasound. External ultrasound was worse at finding it. But when/if you're knocked out during EPU they're able to look a bit more forcefully so I never had a problem with it being lost for egg collection, even though for one cycle we never found it during the stim phase.
It so happens that my left kidney also hides from ultrasound. Eventually had to image that one while standing up, and even in the best shots it was in a shadow cast by my ribs.

Thanks Felicita and lots of others :-)) I feel much more reassured now knowing that the hiding left ovary is fairly common.

Went for BT and US this morning, with my regular nurse, and even she had a problem finding it, but after lots of pushing on my stomach and causing a fair amount of "period" pain, she kind of found it. It was right down the bottom, and though she couldn't see it very well, she said she was sure that there's 1 or 2 follicles in there. She couldn't measure them. On the right side, the two are now at 22, plus two useless ones less than 10. My trigger won't be until Sat night, so of course now I'm sitting here worried that these two at 22 are going to grow too much and will be bust. These thoughts seem to be driving me more crazy this time round then ever before!! Aarghhh. Anyhow, it's totally out of my hands now, and there's nothing I can do, so am trying not to worry about it. I can't wait until EPU on Monday and find out just what is inside :-))
