Nat - Such a shame you can't have the VBAC you were hoping for but I'm sure once you hold that little boy in your arms it won't matter. Look forward to the announcement.

Dramatic turn of events. Waters broke on their own at about midnight, they were a yellowy colour which means baby has pooed. So now I'm packed up and off to the birthing suite for monitoring as the baby usually poos when its in distress. Got the CTG monitor on now to keep an eye on baby. Its only light meconium staining so they're giving me sleeping tablets and will wait for contractions. If none by morning I can have c-section or try a little bit of synto to bring them on

Midwife checked cervix, still only 1cm but its thinning and moving. They just started the Syntocin drip. Baby is nearly engaged too.

    Here we go....

SimpsonDesert.... thanks for your thoughts. I keep thinking about my ET and how painful it was. I've spent the last few days googling speculums and things, and when I'm next at my GP will ask her what she thinks, just for a different opinion. Hopefully the pain will be worth it!!

Peonies.... good luck with your HyCoSy. I don't know much about that, but hope it works and you're next with success.

Rainbow.... 19 follicles is fabulous. From everything I've read you can expect to get between half to three-quarters with eggs (I'm thinking 10-15), and three quarters of the eggs mature (so I think you're spot on with 10 mature eggs!).

Nat... wow, what a turn of events. Good luck - we're all so eagerly awaiting bubs to arrive. All my life I was quite against a C-section (I'm not even really sure I knew the implications), but I've thought about it a lot in the past year and will be happy for a baby, however he/she comes. Good luck!!

AFM... nothing new. Just in the 2WW :-))
