Peonies... your trip for the BTs sounded awful. A couple of years ago I went for a BT and it was a different nurse to the usual, and she couldn't get anything else. I so wanted to do it for her!! In the end she said I had to come back another day, which was very annoying since I'd rushed there from work in the first place!! Good luck with POAS :-))

Nat84u.... oooh, so close. How exciting!!

Crofty - That sucks about the biopsy. My best friend was due to start ivf last week, but at the first appt it was discovered that her Rubella immunity was out, so she had to have the immunisation and now wait another 3 months. My heart breaks for you guys with these set backs.

Well I'm 38+2. Baby is 4/5 engaged, and at next weeks appt (39 weeks) they're doing an internal and a S&S. So pretty excited about that. Only been on leave from work for 2 days, and despite best intentions.. I've pretty much done nothing. Still hasn't sunk in that I will have a squishy newborn of my very own here very soon (anytime now!)

Hope everyone is going well xx

Nat84..... just a note about Rubella that you might like to pass onto your friend, that most FSs now say that it only needs to be 1 month. The old Rubella vaccinations were 3 months, but now it's just 1 month. Mind you my GP didn't know this, but check this up, as a few specialists have told me it's now 1 month.

Crofty.... thanks for thinking about me. My EPU will not happen now on Monday as my follies aren't growing as they were hoping for, so that only leaves Wed (otherwise we're bust, as both my FS and DH's FS will be going to Melbourne for a conference). I went for a BT and scan today, and there's not much there = follicles 16, 14, 13, three at 8 and one at 5.5. That's all the nurse could find. She said they wait for them to get bigger. I mentioned that I only had 2 dosages of Gonal F left, but she said that's fine and we'll ring you. Eventually they rang at 5.15pm and left message to say to continue dosages and next BT and scan on Monday. That's great, but I don't have enough Gonal F!!! Tried to ring back, but they were closed. So now I must ring tomorrow morning, and then probably do a 3 hour round trip just to get Gonal F - not happy about that!!

Particularly not happy, since I had a break down this morning when I got to work, which I've never done before. Someone asked me to do something that I didn't want to do, and the next minute found myself hysterically hyperventilating and crying uncontrollably, which continued for a full 10 minutes. I pulled it together for 1 minute before breaking down crying again for another 10 minutes. Now everyone thinks I've lost the plot!!! All I could blame it on was being overworked and not coping with any more tasks!!! Total lie really!!! Cried at various times throughout the day, then all the drive home and for the first half hour at home. Feeling better now as I've eaten half a block of Toblerone!!! DH now sitting here and eating Toblerone in sympathy with me!!! Hehe.

Thanks for asking after me girls.
Unfortunately BFN here still at 13dpo. But I have felt so ill this time, and still do. All kinds of symptoms & no sign of AF. But -ve HTPs. I think I must have released 2 eggs & just have high progesterone, but unfortunately nothing else to show for it. Next stop: HyCosy.

Can anyone who has had one tell me how quickly they were able to arrange it & how much it cost? And has anyone been able to have one using lipiodol as the medium?

Good luck for the birth Nat!!! x

    Hi peonies.

I had a hycosy a few years ago at a women's ultrasound place and the cost was $350. I was going to have about a 6 week wait when I tried to book but ended up getting in sooner bc of a cancellation. It's hard as you can only have it done on certain days of your cycle (8-10 is best I think but can't remember exactly- definitely after af but before ov). I found it a little uncomfortable and would recommend taking panadiene or nurofen plus an hour before. I had some cramping afterwards but no worse than af.

Hope this month gives you a nice surprise and its just a late implanter xx

Hi all, I'm technically on a bubhub break but I was reading along this morning!

peonies: I had a hycosy done at Ultrasound care at RPAH Medical Centre, I am pretty sure I had my appointment within 2 weeks of my FS appointment, so not a long wait. Not sure about the medium though, mine was the standard one I think (saline?)

AFM, I am now on day 5 of gonal-f!!! Been jabbing Lucrin for 17 days now! My gonal-f dose is 112.5. I have my LH blood test tomorrow. What does it do? From what I can work out, if your LH is too low they put you on something to help with egg quality? I then have my day 9 scan on Friday. EPU estimated for wednesday week, which would mean a transfer on the same day as Mardi Gras parade - very fitting I think, for us

    Hi peonies

    Bummer re hpts.

Like PP, my HyCoSy was around $320. Booked it to coincide with my menstrual cycle. Nurofen helped pain. I had a saline flush. Went to SUFW on Kent St.
