    Hi girls,

Just wanted to let you all know that we had a beautiful baby girl!!! She looks just like DS but a feminine beautiful version. She is just lovely in every way. We feel so blessed that she is here safe and sound and that we have two amazing children when a few years ago it looked like we couldn't have any.

Nat84u.... thanks so much for posting the photo of your growing bump. It made me think of all the times recently when I've seen pregnant women in the shopping centre or such, and how I feel so jealous of them. I was always resent them, thinking that they just got pregnant easily, but yesterday when I saw one, I thought of your photo, and then thought, that might be an IVF baby and that lady may have been through an equally hard time. So thanks for changing my perspective on things :-))

AFM.... We have a plan now and I should start sniffing Syranel today or tomorrow, as soon as the results of yesterdays BTs are in. We're going with the plan to see if Dr G can find some sperm in DH's micro-dissection, so are not waiting for donor sperm, as it still won't be available for another month (and I just can't wait any longer). There is a possibility that Dr G doesn't find any useable sperm, so the cycle would then be cancelled (ie. no EPU), but DH and I feel that we will be no worse off in that situation as we were in our first two cycles that didn't result in a pregnancy (apart from financially, but it's only money!!). Glad to to doing something.

MGC Bertie - It changes your perspective on things doesn't it. I felt the exact same as you until I fell pregnant myself wondering how many women around me resent my belly. Kinda makes me want to wear a shirt around saying that this bump is the result of years of infertility, miscarriages and heartache!

Traveller - Congratulations and well done! Enjoy your squishy newborn cuddles xx

AFM - 5 weeks to go officially. But bub is big and breech, so I'll see what the hospital say at my appt tomorrow!

    Hope everyone is well xx

Great news traveler, congrats to you and your family. Xx

Nat and mcgbertie - I totally relate too! I was at the shops today and now I've popped out a lot more I notice people staring at the bump and I often think I hope no one resents me for being pregnant like i used to feel when I saw a prego lady.
Nat, funny about the shirt- I just (5 mins ago!) said to my neighbour who is preg with ivf twins that I want a shirt that says this bump is the result of 4.5yrs trying & 7 ivf attempts!!!

    Hi everyone else.

I'm 18 wks, big scan next week. We are thinking we will find out the gender as the curiosity is driving me insane!!!
