    Yes, it is very heavy (at least mine was). Better to have too many vs not enough.

    Plus it goes for much longer than your usual period as well. Up to 6 weeks is completely normal, so too many isn't really an issue. Better the be prepared.

    OP are you public or private? Private hospitals provide loads of stuff...sometimes even pads. They'll give you a list of what you need to bring.

    No public. I haven't got any info yet, I've got a while to go but I've been stressing about it so just wanna get it done!

    Good idea to get stuff together while you think of it! I always recommend that, if you're going to breastfeed, buy a really good water bottle...one you that seals and you can open one-handed. You get so thirsty feeding and those tiny hospital glasses are useless.

    Definitely agree with the undies! I had a c section and the high waisted ones are great as they go above the incision. Also hospital towels are pretty small and rough, I would bring your own towel.

    Lol I am planning to buy HUGE gel pads the olds use for incontinence, they seem way thicker and have a gel
    Core.....
    I had night pads and watched in horror as the middie joined two together aftertaste fist bub, yep a fair bit of bleeding

    Where are you located? I am in Brissie and in my 'Orange book' with all the middies notes is a page that gives you a list of what to take for you and bub :-)
