Default What do I need for the hospital stay?? Please help :)

    Hi there,

I'm making a list of things that I will need to pack for the hospital when I go in for my csection!

But in case I go early, I want to be prepared for a natural birth too.

Any advice on what I need to pack??

    TIA

If this is for your hospital bag - Some hospitals dont provide towels
Toothpaste/toothbrush, hair ties, shampoo/conditioner, outfits for you, outfits for baby, anything you normally do in your morning routine include that as well.
Pads LOTS of undies .. breast pads, camera, chewing gum ( it helped me out majorly when i got the munchies ) umm these are whats in my bag right now but im also taking my mini laptop for when i cant sleep and some movies are on it as well.

If you're having a c/s be sure to pack undies that are really loose and can go over your incision or sit below it.
    Maternity bras if breastfeeding x4
    Maternity pads x3-5 packs
    Breastfeeding friendly shirts/singlets
Pj's depending on how long your staying I'd say 5 just incase you have any leaks etc.
I always pack fruit and snacks especially when some of the painkillers can make you sick and I find different food helps..

Prob a lot more but I can't think ATM lol

I only just (like 5 mins ago) printed this out - http://www.bubhub.com.au/hubbub-blog...l-a-checklist/

Looks like a pretty comprehensive list. I figure at 35 weeks I should get my butt into gear and pack!

My hospital have given me a list of things to pack, which is very helpful! I'll probably end up packing to much, because I always do, but at least its given me a guide of what they provide and what i need to bring

Whoa I know you bleed after birth, but 3-5 packs? Assuming its WAY heavier than period bleeding?
