King Seafood and Yum Cha in Chinatown, fortitude valley. It's upstairs and a little hard to find. But so worth it. Best yum Cha in brissy and very affordable. Really good for large groups too.

    Some of my favourites:

    Tartufo - Italian
    Ortiga - Spanish
Joseph Alexanders (changed name recently) - Australian
    Royal Thai Orchid - Thai!
    Sake - Japanese
    Euro - Mixed
Vila Maria - South American and Mexican (authentic - not tex mex) - they're at Camp Hill
Birches - Mixed - on Mt Mee
    Koh Ya Yakiniku - Japanese

Ohhh I could just keep going...!
