Missie - It doesn't. I drink heaps... I always have been the type to ALWAYS have a drink with me... in the car, in the shops, when I go to bed, etc.
I'm supposed to get in 60g protein a day, which is not really heaps for your average person, it's just that it's sometimes difficult to get in because I can't eat much, meaning most of what I eat has to be protein. Things like bread and milk and some veges etc each have a decent amount of protein too though, so I still eat a variety of stuff. It just means for lunch, for example, I often eat sardines (lol, I know everyone hates them!) or something. Higher protein for smaller amounts of food.
