    Default Hemorrhage

My doctor said I have perigestational hemorrhage. I know a few friends who have had subchorionic hemorrhage during their pregnancy but ended up with a miscarriage. I am really scared. I did an online search but was unable to find out what the difference was. Does anyone know the difference?

Hey I had my ultrasound yesterday at 5 weeks and 3 days with a BETA reading of 13,000. the nurse said that I had a 1mm hemmorage around gest.sac but the feotus was detected along with a heart rate of 91, the nurse said this was low for 5 weeks but I'm not sure if it's just because of the heartbeat being early detected also nurse said hemmorage can decrease and is common in first trimester pregnancies.
Im due for another ultrasound in 10 days to check bubs heart rate and to see if the hemmorage has decreased in size. Has any experienced the same situation as I'm quite concern for my baby but don't want to stress too much as was told not too :-/
Pleasehelp or give advice thanks guys

    Default Hemorrhage

Wow! You've already got a heartbeat at 5 weeks! Congrats! At 5 weeks, the u/s didn't even pick up the embryo of my bub. At the time, I spent days crying and devastated as my specialist told me to be prepared for a blighted ovum. However the following week, I had a scan and they found the heartbeat at 100bpm which I thought was very low. I spent the next week crying and feeling helpless but within one week, it increased to 169bpm, so there's nothing to worry about.

I just hope that the hemorrhage decreases in size soon.

    Default Re: Hemorrhage

I know nothing about the levels.
My first pregnancy I had 2 bleeds detected, one near bub & one across the other side of the uterus, bub was also implanted very low,
I misscarried at 9 weeks as result of the low implantation

DS pregnancy they also detected 2 bleeds but DS was implanted right, scanner would say nothing, I freaked out about it when I asked my on he said these are not 'normal' but highly common and getting even more so with earlier ultrasound technology but they usually disappeared before the morphology scan.

dss had disappeared by his 19 week scan and I had a very uneventful pregnancy

thanks ! I was also surprised that the scan picked it up showed me the feotus and heart beat, OB said heart rate was low at 91 but im guessing its because it was detected early, hopefully in my follow up u/s bubs heart rater will start picking up, as for the bleeding it has calmed down a bit its very light brown discharge so hopefully the hemorrage has decreased in size.

Your hubs heart could have started beating an hour before that ultrasound you just don't know and that would definitely account for it being on the lower side.

I got knocked over at 14 weeks with DD2 and ended up with a large sub chorionic hemorrhage which bled for 7 weeks, resulting in 2 trips to the emergency room with 2 massive flooding espisodes - one that included passing a placenta sized clot, the entire time I was mess but bubs was fine. I also had a small bleed with this pregnancy and again ended up in emergency at 14 weeks, much smaller hemorrhage this time but no less scary (the inital bleed was about a cup of bright red blood opposed to about a bucket worth the first time) \

It's scary as hell but doesn't always end up in mc, cross your fingers (and legs lol) and rest, rest, rest! Good Luck xx

FYI - I don't know remember the measurements of the first bleed, I think it was 8cm x 3cm but the last one was 2cm long by.8cm wide . . . nothing compared to the first one!

Brown is good, old blood means it's healing up!
