Default son jumped on 14 week belly

Hi ladies, was hoping for some advice. My 2 1/2 year old son came and jumped on my lower stomach last night when i was laying on the couch, i was totally unprepared for it and it was quite a big wack. It hurt quite a bit. Should i get it checked out or is bub padded enough in there to be ok. It hard becuase im only 14 weeks so obviously cant feel it kicking to make sure it is ok. No bleeding just feeling a little deflated.
    Any advice?

If you feel unsure just call the hospital and ask for their opinion

Default son jumped on 14 week belly

My 2 year old use to do it to me all the time she would jump, lay and kick me and she's very heavy I was concerned about it to but my midwife said there was enough protection in there for bub and if she has a dollar for all the mums that have said that to her she would be very wealthy but that he would be fine, although like previous post said if your unsure its easy to duck up to the hospital and get them to check bub over for your own reassurance there is no such thing as being to careful

My dogs never jump but for some reason lately they keep jumping up on my belly! I figure as long as I'm not in pain and have no bleeding, it should be fine :-)

My nephew jumped on me around the same stage and I rang my OB in hysterics thinking something must be wrong. She told me bub would be fine and if I was really worried, she'd do a scan in office for me maybe your ob/midwife would do the same if you're really worried?

Bub would be fairly well padded, but if you are concerned call your gp/ob.

Probably a good time to explain to your son that whilst you love playing with him, jumping on mummy tummy is not a very good game to play

Thanks everyone. Decided was best to ring the hospital and ask. They told.me I should come in to be sure. So here I am had a blood test, urine test now have to wait for the results and a scan. I think it will be ok but best to be sure.
