Default My 8 m/o is driving me nuts!

    Hello

I just want to know if this is normal behaviour.. My 8 m/o just can NOT stay entertained! She will play with a toy for literally 2-5 minutes then scream and cry/have a tantrum. She is impossible to get to nap and is generally being feral the past few days, is there a wonder week around 8 months? She is SO irritable!

Totally normal! And you poor thing, I can totally relate. We had a shocking few months with DD which started at 7 months and continued until she was 12 months. We put it down to physical, intellectual changes. Becoming far more alert and inquisitive and because of this, more and more frustrated that she could not communicate with us for what she wanted. She was also just moments away from crawling and this added to the frustration.

Cliche, but it does get better. Hang in there.

DD was painful around 8-9 months. She seemed frustrated she couldn't get mobile. Once she started crawling she was so much happier and content.

DS was the same, he improved out of sight once he could crawl at 8 1/2 months
