Cakeyloaf - not surprised you have filt members with the same name/s. that is another thing Italians love to do especially when they are named after a grand parent. My name is assunta, and I have four other female first cousins called assunta. We differentiate by saying 'big assunta' 'little assunta' 'assunta from Australia' etc.. Good luck with the name choice!

In our family we have several Anna-Maria's (all who go by slightly different versions i.e Maria, Anita, Anna), also Regina (Gina and Regina), Lucia, Pia

My DD is Mia and if this bub happens to actually be a girl she will be Stella Maris which means star of the sea

Nothing wrong with having the same name as half your family, lol.

DS has the same name as several cousins, 2 uncles, a great uncle and his great-grandfather. DH, my dad, my brother, my great-grandfather, DHs great-uncle, uncle, cousin and nephew all have the same name (his family have the exact same name, letter for letter... all 26 of them, lol... yet they're all referred to by totally different titles and I want to call our next son that name.
