Futuremamma & KS09 -Thinking of you and to you both.
Addiegirl - I know how you feel about your friends being pregnant, I have had nearly 20 friends have babies this year. It can be very hard even though you are happy for them!! for you I am sure you will join them officially soon!!
MrsJones - How did you go at EPU?
Kry84 - That's great results! I have another scan tomorrow but at the moment my EPU is on Friday too!!

to all of you out there in the 2ww wait and those of you who are pregnant!!

AFM - I just want to rant for a second about the person who did my scan on Friday. It turns out I don't have either a 18 or 16mm follicle that is going to make me go to EPU early!! How bad is that? All that stress for nothing!! The good news for the first time I have fairly even follicles!! I have 10 that are between 11 - 14mm (that was yesterday). Another scan and blood test tomorrow so will confirm EPU then!

    To everyone out there!!

Hi ladies, I haven't been following this thread since I had a suspected very early chemical pregnancy on the weekend, as I've been feeling very sensitive.

Anyway, tonight I've had some awesome news:
I got a letter from the lab at my clinic, which was a summary of our cycle. And what should I read right down the very bottom? "Number of embryos that were frozen this cycle: 1 (Day 6)."

I am completely floored! They never called to tell me this, and I never expected them to, because on transfer day they told me that my second emby was "not viable at all, but we'll keep it overnight anyway". The embryologist basically implied it was going to end up in the bin the next day.

I am calling them tomorrow to find out how the hell it could have caught up enough to be deemed suitable to freeze. Amazing. I hope when I see my specialist on Monday he'll let me go into an FET before we plan our next stim.. I'm not expecting much from an emby that wasn't even a Morula at Day 5, and was only 8 cell on Day 4. It probably won't even survive the thawing process. BUT.. you never know.

Wishful - So sorry for the BFN hun. You have so many frosties though, I'm sure one of them will prove to be your take-home baby. Take care of yourself. xx

Well after our BFN in Oct, I am back jabbing on Menopur this time around with first scan next Monday.

Congrats to all those with BFPs and to those who haven't had good news this time around.

Sariele that is fantastic news! What a great surprise, hopefully it is that one lucky one, sounds like a fighter already .

Wishing you all the very best on your journeys.

    Hi guys,

goodluck to everyone. I'm afraid I got some bad news this morning. All embryos not looking good. Meant to be at at least 8cells today to test using cgh and none of them made it to more than 5cell. Embryologist advised to freeze the 1 biggest one at 5cell and do another round in January and add that one to that round of testing as its $7000 to test with no Medicare or hbf rebates on top of the $5500 for the ivf/icsi and management fees etc. feel a bit down but I know it's the right thing to do and January is only around the corner.

Goodluck to everyone, I will keep my fingers crossed for you all.

    Krystle

Well I finally have a date for my FET transfer.... Saturday 1st December! So I'm not sure if I belong in this thread anymore?
I'm trying not to get too excited about it all as I know there are no guarantees that it will work 1st go.

For all who have received bad news lately.
