They put me on the prednisolone cos they said it would increase my chances of success- they said my body would be less likely to reject the embryos as a foreign body- which is more likely to happen due to my age and having an auto-immune condition- how old are you squeak 4123?

Well, they emphasised my age when they put me on this- I think my clinic puts everyone over 35 on it- maybe you are too young and its not a risk for you?

    Hi everyone,

Just a quick update, 11 eggs yesterday, 10 fertilised (3 out of 4 by ICSI and all 7 by IVF) I'm expecting a call Monday to find out the progress and transfer is scheduled for 12:30 Wednesday for a 5 day transfer. The embryologist said they all look fantastic. Dare I hope?

Hope all is going well for everyone else and massive ((((hugs)))) for those that need it. I still don't fully understand a lot about the drugs and processes or even our basic anatomy so I appreciate being able to follow everyone elses journey. (the nurse explained to me yesterday the ovaries are NOT inside out tubes! Never knew that as this was very taboo topic in our house growing up) Wishing you all love and light, baby dust and support

Time to get ready for my 3rd job. I'm a Remedial Massage therapist working mostly on rehab, elderly and palliative 3 days a week, In TAFE 1 day a week, A painter and decorator - painting S.A. Housing houses for the government as a subbie 1 or 2 days a week (depending on exams etc) and a DJ doing weddings and events on Saturday nights so time to wash off the paint and get ready for the Wedding....... LOL, at least there is no time to dwell in between being a Basket ball and music Mum with my teenagers.

Today's embryo update: 1x 5 cell and 1x 8 cell. The scientist said that that's "fine". I am a bit concerned about the 5 cell one, but 8 cell is bang on target for Day 3. So now I am just hoping with all my heart that at least that one keeps growing...

Hi Wishful, I hope the pain subsides for you. I hope I don't sound rude asking because I genuinely have no idea as I'm new to all this but is that much pain in a normal range? Do you need emergency medical attention? I'm worried about you......
