Montesmum - Sorry to hear about your results, that must be so frustrating. I hope the last one is a sticky star!

Chances - not sure if there is a magical number. In my IVF cycle I had 10-12 follicles, 7 eggs collected, 6 fertilized all developed well, 1 blasto transferred (DD) and the other 5 frozen, FS and embryologist thought it was a great cycle. I don't think the numbers will predict the quality you will get. And apparently only 50% of perfect looking embies are sticky. Its amazing that BFPs actually happen - but they do.

AFM - jabbing away, first BT on Monday morning.

    to all!

    Default New to thread...

    Hi ladies,

May I join you? I start injecting for my first IVF cycle on Monday. I'm 33 and have been ttc for 2 years. 2 (natural pregnancy) miscarriages in that time -- have since found I have an amh of 5.5 and endo and highish NK cells. Hubby fine.

Am nervous about arranging time off from work for scans tests etc. Also keep reminding myself that it usually doesn't happen first go round...

Hi ladies, sorry I've been absent the last few days. Thanks for those who asked about my scan on Friday; I had 7 follies on the right and 4 on the left, so 11 all together. Which is exactly what I had last time, so I'm a little disappointed. Hopefully if I manage to get 10-ish eggs again, more than 6 will be mature this time... Another scan tomorrow morning, trigger tomorrow night, and EPU will be Wednesday (7/11, if anyone updates the list again).

So sorry for those who have had disappointing news recently. I haven't been very active in any of my forums this week; I'm managing to distract myself so far this cycle, which is very unusual for me, but I think it's helping my attitude quite a bit (so far, anyway, but I'm sure if/when I get to the TWW I'll be going mental and obsessed again, hehe). So I'm not here much, but I'm still cheering all you ladies on.

BettyW! Good Luck for your first cycle! If you have any questions hopefully one of us will be able to help you out.

montesmum - this is a hard journey. Did you hear from the embryologist again? How are you doing?

Sariele - good on ya for getting on with life! Good Luck for EPU & hope you don't get sucked into obsessive madness of the TWW!

Ophelia1971 - I can't believe that happened so early. Hope things go well for you tomorrow & FS comes up with a better plan for you.

Chances - another day closer! for friday.

    Hi to everyone else!!

afm finally finished jabbing - yay! did my trigger yesterday so transfer should be Thursday. Will get a call on Wednesday from the embryologist to let me know. I'm already stressing about stressing in the TWW. I think because we decided this would be our last cycle it's making me freak out even more than usual (i didn't really think that was possible lol!). Just gotta accept whatever will be

Loving reading the updates on where every1 is at in their cycles. Makes me feel not so alone. Coming to Perth from the country to have ivf is very daunting.

Thanks MrsJones! I have my first scan on Friday so I'm very excited and nervous at the same time! Work is so stressful and I just want to sleep all the time.

Had scan #2 today and FS was very happy with everything. He called me an "egg machine", hehe. Triggering at 12:30am tonight (very late one!), and EPU and DH's various procedures are booked for Wednesday. So happy to be getting to the business end of things, but I'm starting to stress about that fert. report phone call that I will get on Thursday morning. After two devestatingly disappointing cycles I feel like it's almost normal now to only get one fertilise, so if I manage to get get 5 or more fertilise, I will be totally ecstatic...
