Maybebaby I had no luck actually speaking to my FS nurses but had a quick chat to the clinics nurses - It sounds like its ok and next time I just need to check i get it all.

However i never resolved another issue i had with the doses - i was given 3 viles and told to take on 2 days, so i assume the other is a spare? I rung s many times today and either got answer phone or no answer! Can't believe how much we are paying for this and when things like this happen i can never get a decent answer! We got a bill today for another "management consultation" we are beginiing to wonder what we paid 7k for??!?? Cause it hasn't covered FS fees or any surgery etc. All up our up front costs are now well over 12k.

Wow chances - I can't believe you are having to pay so much extra. A "management consultation fee" just sounds ridiculous. My FS fees, drugs etc aren't included but I'm only doing a FET so not as much involved/much less expensive. I hope you'll be able to get a lot back from medicare. When I used pregnyl it came in a box of three but I think I used all of them? It's very frustrating that you can't even get them to answer the phone! Hope you get to speak to someone next time you're ringing.

    Hey hun

I'm at QFG - apparently we are only meant to be around 4.5k out of pocket but i seriously doubt it. I was told over the phone when i rung in i would only have to pay 7k up front! I do however have a very skillful FS but still we can't afford too many of these cycles at this rate! So fingers crossed this ones a goodie

I had the molar preg with my ex BF, its basically a genetic thing on the male side - something to do with his sperm stuffing up my egg and a very horrible experience for me! Your body thinks ur pregnant and u get all the symptoms - nausea, growing stomach, hormones, headaches etc but really bad because the rate the HCG rises- I even had a sac but clusters of cysts. My doc thought i was preg with multiples because my hcg was so high, I had to have a d and c to properly end the "pregnancy" and have my blood monitored every second day for about a mth til my hcg levels dropped to 0. So i literary was a human pin cushion. There also is a risk of developing a form of stomach cancer but thank god I was ok....the whole 2 mths was very scary and emotional - i wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.

I think that experience did however make the later ectopic slightly more bearable but because i had a rapture with my ectopic, i'm not sure overall which was the worst!
Lets say i'm prepared for whatever cards I get this time
