I'm sorry my deviation wasnt of the 50,000 deviations on bub hub that meets your approval. Now bugger off and stop derailing the thread with nitpicking and overreacting.

I think they can support you without doing the fighting for u. Especially with logical, non emotional advice. I only want my husband to stick up for me if I am abused in front of him. Then he should tell them to back off.

Sorry (and I'm. Not saying its the case with you) but I am sus whenever a spouse calls in.
I worked in childcare in the past, being that they had to ring in a replacement before the center opened pretty sure they would rather hear from my dp if i was unable to call rather than be over their kids quota.

Although i must admit it was super fun calling in the day i couldnt talk :/ dp was at work, i had a bad chest infection which ended up with a very horse voice, i could barely get a word out.

To op - i would like my dp to be my venting board, instead he tries to 'fix' it by mentioning obvious (yet unrealistic) solution

I hardly think what I did qualifies as derailing, but I'm flattered. I still don't think you get it so no probably not worth it.
