    Default Baby losing weight

    my 2 week old boy is breastfed every 3 hours and he has lost weight any suggestions what i should do

    Generally they will regain their birthweight within 10-14 days, so he's within that time period. I would try not to worry too much about the 3 hourly feeds, and just put him to your breast more often if he seems to be unsettled or needing a feed. Did you weigh him at home, or at the clinic? Does he seem otherwise well? Wet and soiled nappies? Are the nappies wet and reasonably heavy? Are you feeling a let down of milk, what are his feeds like? Is this breastfeeding experience more difficult than the others?
