    Default Cooling cathedral ceilings

Does anyone know if you can have evaporative cooling in rooms with cathedral ceilings?

Or if you have cathedral ceilings, how do you cool your house?

    Default Cooling cathedral ceilings

We had cathedral ceilings in our first house in NQ. We just had fans - thankfully because of the orientation of the house even in summer that was enough even for a delicate petal like me.

We airconditioned it when we moved out and turned it into a rental property. As far as I am aware tenants rarely use the aircon

We live in sunny hot Melbourne (insert sarcasm) however we have cathedral ceilings and the cost of air con was rediculous do we have just put an 8kw split system on the wall. It works really well in conjunction with a few fans scattered around.

Hmmm, that's what I'm thinking - a split system with fans.
We have evap cooling now (which I love) but we are moving soon and possibly to a house which has cathedral ceilings. So thinking about all these things.

    Thanks for the help!
