Default Full time working mums give me your tips!!

I just resigned from my part-time job and have accepted a full time contract for 4 months!! Dd (2yrs) will be going to daycare for an extra day a week and longer hours and I am anxious about how she will cope!! At the moment I drop her at 8 and pick her up around 3:30 but with the new job I will have to drop her at 7:30 and pick her up at 5!! I feel so terrible for doing this to her but it's a really great opportunity for me that I can't pass up! I keep telling myself it's only 4 months and she will be ok!! So give me your tips full time working mummies. Also I have to mention dh works away so some weeks I will be on my own and the others he can pick her up early!
    I just feel so guilty!!!

Just want to say congratulations!! I haven't done it yet but will be next year. I think organization and forward planning is the key, bags packed the night before, etc.

    Good luck!

    Congrats !

Bags and lunch packed the night before.

I get up earlier than I have to to have breakfast and get some washing done.

Also get clothes ready the night before.

    Congrats!
Bag ready night before (for you & bub)
I sometimes do a load of washing & hang it up before bed.
My DC provides meals so I only prepare DDs bottles if milk.
Let them know her afternoon routine too.

Good luck! (and don't feel bad about going fulltime, it doesn't make you a bad Mummy!!)

Cook some meals n freeze them. If u can afford a cleaner once a week/FN for the major stuff do it.
Don't feel bad about the long days it's only for 4months plus as u said DH can get her early when home. And rest n relax when u can
